On 09/27/2025 at approximately 0549 hours, I, Deputy Scott Eyth (206), was dispatched to [3000 BLOCK] Carswell Drive in reference to a stabbing.

Upon arrival, I met with [VICTIM #1] (Victim), who stated that on 09/26/2025 at approximately 1300 hours, he was stabbed in the left arm by Erik Porter (Suspect) while in the yard. [VICTIM #1] noted that he went to Doctors Hospital at 1500 hours and was initially told the Sheriff’s office was coming, but was released several hours later after receiving stitches to his left arm. [VICTIM #1] further stated that [WITNESS #1] was present during the incident.

After being released, [VICTIM #1] stated that he went to Best Inn on Belair Frontage Road, room [REDACTED], took his prescribed pain medication, and fell asleep.

At approximately 0550 on today’s date, [VICTIM #1] reached out to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office to meet them at the Parker’s Gas Station on Jimmie Dyess. Once on the scene, [VICTIM #1] explained the situation, and deputies arrived at the secondary location, [3000 BLOCK] Carswell Drive, but determined that this residence was not located in Richmond County and notified our dispatch at 0549 hours.

Having the details of the case, Sgt. Bale was notified and briefed on the situation. Sgt. Bale then stated that CID had been informed and was en route to the indicated location.

Investigator Moore arrived on the scene and was briefed by me, Cpl Key, and Columbia County on the current situation. The investigation was turned over to CID.
