On 03/14/2025 I Deputy Christopher Rabun Unit 223 responded to 3425 Mike Padgett Hwy in regards to Abuse.
(Complainant) [WITNESS #1] stated on 03/13/2025 she was notified by a representative of Meadowbrook Elementary School that her son (Victim) [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had arrived to school with an injury on the left side of his face. [WITNESS #1] advised she then responded to 3630 Goldfinch Dr (Meadowbrook Elementary School). [WITNESS #1] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told her that his step mother (Suspect) Hernadez-Mera, Estrella got mad and hit him in the face multiple times with an open hand causing his head to hit the wall making it hard to breath. [WITNESS #1] provided a audio recording of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] recalling the incident, that was captured on my body worn camera. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated in the recording that his father (Other) [REDACTED] attempted to stop Estrella from hitting him but she would push away and continue to hit him in the face. [WITNESS #1] provided me with photo’s taken on 03/13/2025 at Meadowbrook Elementary School of the visible injury to the face of [REDACTED BY AGENCY], photo’s are attached.
I Deputy Christopher Rabun responded to [2700 BLOCK] Fawn Dr attempting to make contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to further investigate the complaint. Upon arrival I found no one at the residence. I notified [REDACTED] with the Georgia Department of Family and Children services of this incident and previous complaints reference case numbers 24-000248, 24-125111, 24-120187 and BOE 25-03-00310. Sgt Tim Owens/ B-29 with the Richmond County Criminal Investigations Unit was contacted and made aware of this incident.
