On April 30, 2026, at 18:37 hours, I, Deputy Tiyana Grimes (#324), Andrew Brooks (#C-33), and John Mitchum (#321) were dispatched to [2200 BLOCK] Pinefield Ct (Residence) in reference to a Robbery.

Upon arrival, we made contact with [VICTIM #1] (Victim/Sister), who stated she had been in contact with a male named Fred Jones (Suspect) in reference to buying a vehicle. [VICTIM #1] stated she got a ride from [VICTIM #2] (Victim/Sister), went to the gas station off exit 9, and got $ in 20s from the ATM.

[VICTIM #1] stated she agreed to meet Jones at [2200 BLOCK] Pinefield Ct. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she arrived at the residence, they made contact with a black female who stated she did not know what she was talking about, and that there was no vehicle for sale at this residence. [VICTIM #1] stated she spoke with Jones, and Jones gave her another address, [2300 BLOCK] Winston Way.

[VICTIM #1] stated that when they arrived on Winston Way, Jones stated that the vehicle was around back. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she and [VICTIM #2] walked around the corner, Jones pointed a gun at her ([VICTIM #1]) and stated where was the money. [VICTIM #1] stated she told Jones she didn’t have the money while he held her at gunpoint.

[VICTIM #1] stated that [VICTIM #2] started backing toward her vehicle, telling Jones he didn’t have to do this. [VICTIM #1] stated that [VICTIM #2] got back in her vehicle, and she ran back to the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] stated Jones chased her around the vehicle with the firearm, and when she got in, Jones opened the driver’s door and grabbed [VICTIM #2] by the neck, held her at gunpoint, and demanded they give him the money. [VICTIM #1] stated [VICTIM #2] begged her to give Jones the money, and she did. [VICTIM #1] stated that as soon as Jones got the money, he fled the scene.

We then spoke to [VICTIM #2], who stated that she helped [VICTIM #1] withdraw money from the ATM and drove [VICTIM #1] to [2200 BLOCK] Pinefield Ct to meet Jones regarding buying a vehicle. [VICTIM #2] stated that when they arrived at the residence, the female they spoke with stated that she did not know what they were talking about, and that there was no vehicle for sale. [VICTIM #2] then stated that Jones provided them with another address, which she found uncomfortable, but [VICTIM #1] stated that, since they had already driven for over an hour, they might as well at least see the vehicle.

[VICTIM #2] stated that when they arrived at [2300 BLOCK] Winston Way, a black male who stated his name was Fred told them the vehicle was in the back. [VICTIM #2] stated that when she got out of the vehicle with [VICTIM #1] and walked around the corner, Fred had them at gunpoint, demanding they give him the money. [VICTIM #2] stated she told Fred he didn’t need to do this and began to back away.

[VICTIM #2] then stated she ran back to her vehicle, and Fred began chasing [VICTIM #1] around the vehicle with a firearm. [VICTIM #2] stated she tried to let [VICTIM #1] in the vehicle, but Fred opened her driver’s door and grabbed her by her throat, began choking her while holding her at gunpoint. [VICTIM #2] stated that the man demanded the money, and she begged [VICTIM #1] to give him the money. [VICTIM #2] stated that once Fred got the money, he left the scene. [VICTIM #2] stated she told Fred she was calling the police.

While on scene, Fred Jones was identified as Freddie Lee Jones Jr. (Suspect). [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #1] were given a case card and informed that a report would be on file. CID was notified and responded. Warrants applied for.
