On Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 1031 hours, I responded to [2000 BLOCK] Townvue Avenue about a suspicious situation.

When I arrived on the scene, I spoke with [WITNESS #1], who stated that at approximately 0300 hours, she was in her residence, lying with her male friend, Frederick Roddy, when his Snapchat went off. [WITNESS #1] stated that Roddy gives her access to his phone, so she opened his Snapchat message to see who was writing him that late.

[WITNESS #1] stated she and Frederick Roddy are both Staff Sgts. in the military; they are not dating, but seeing each other, so she was allowed access to his phone. [WITNESS #1] stated that the Snapchat ended up being from his niece, [VICTIM #1], who is a soldier as well and stationed in Savannah, GA.

[WITNESS #1] stated that when she told [VICTIM #1] it was her, not Frederick Roddy, she advised [WITNESS #1] not to trust him, and not to send him photos. [WITNESS #1] also stated that [VICTIM #1] said that she should have come forward in the past when she was 15, and Frederick Roddy made her feel uncomfortable doing sexual things to her.

[WITNESS #1] stated that when she went through the rest of Frederick Roddy’s phone, she noticed he had some inappropriate photos of children, so she notified Commander [REDACTED], who stated they would get in touch with the local authorities since it happened off Fort Eisenhower.

When I, and Corporal Cheillada (C21) were advised of the situation, we contacted CID Investigator Ferraro (711), who arrived on the scene, and Frederick Roddy was transported to 400 Walton Way and booked in the Charles B. Webster Detention Center on the listed charge.
