On Monday June 16, 2026 at 2306 Hours I, Deputy Omar Graham (312P) and Deputy Tyler Holland (312) responded to the listed address in reference to shots fired.
On arrival Trooper John Zebro (GSP408) located Jamarcus Gartrell (Arrested) fleeing down Broad St heading away from the scene. Deputies spoke to [WITNESS #1] (Witness) who stated that Gartrell attempted to enter the Metro bar with a handgun and was instructed to leave. After leaving from Metro Gartrell attempted to go into 1145 Broad St (Firehouse bar) but was stopped by [VICTIM #1] (Victim) who was working the door.
After being told he cannot enter the bar, Gartrell started to become irate. [WITNESS #1] attempted to calm Gartrell down but to no affect. [WITNESS #1] stated that Gartrell then took out his Glock handgun, racking it back twice ejecting one round that was later found in his person. Gartrell then fired at least one round towards the direction of the bar that had a number of patrons. Gartrell then began walking down Broad St hiding the firearm on the hitch of a parked truck.
One spent .40 round casing was found in front of the bar.
All further detailed information and evidence was turned over to CID Investigator Sgt. Brown (B80)
