On Sunday, December 21, 2025, at approximately 1820 hours I, Deputy John Wade, along with Deputy Jonathan Nombre, responded to [3200 BLOCK] Heritage Circle in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, we made contact with Deputy Terence Driggers and Deputy Shehryar Khan, who were the initial responding deputies. They stated they made contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1], who advised that she and the suspect, Jykerion Crawford, who is involved in a relationship with her, were engaged in a verbal altercation regarding him cheating.
[VICTIM #1] stated that during the argument, Crawford hit her, grabbed her by the arm, pushed her to the ground and kicked her, pulled her hair, and brandished a firearm. [VICTIM #1] further stated that Crawford discharged the firearm inside the residence, striking the wall in an attempt to intimidate her. She advised that after firing the weapon, Crawford ran to his vehicle to conceal the firearm underneath the driver’s seat to prevent deputies from locating it once they arrived.
Deputies Driggers and Khan advised that Crawford locked the doors to his vehicle and refused to let [VICTIM #1] enter the vehicle so [VICTIM #1] entered the rear hatch of the vehicle and went to the exact location where Crawford placed the firearm. They stated that [VICTIM #1] retrieved the firearm and presented it to them.
Deputies secured the firearm, and took possession of it as evidence. The firearm was placed into the evidence locker at 400 Walton Way under property receipt number 545031. The firearm was described as a black GLOCK 48 with an extended magazine.
The projectile from the discharged firearm was located embedded in the wall of the room where the altercation occurred. Sergeant Terry Bale removed the projectile from the wall and placed it into an evidence envelope. Deputies secured the projectile in the evidence locker at 400 Walton Way under property receipt number 548040.
During the investigation, deputies were advised that a two-year-old child, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who is the son of both victim and suspect, was present in the room during the altercation and firearm discharge. Crawford was read the Miranda Warning at which time he refused to answer any questions.
[VICTIM #1] was observed to have minor injuries to her right hand, and photos of these were uploaded via Axon capture this case number.
Based on the investigation, the use and discharge of a firearm damaging property, the physical injury observed, and the existing relationship between the victim and suspect, Jykerion Crawford was placed into custody, secured in the rear of a patrol vehicle, and transported to the Richmond County Jail for booking under the listed charges.
While conducting a search on Jykerion Crawford, a small bag of marijuana was presented on the person. The marijuana was turned over to drug evidence locker at 400 Walton Way under property reciept number 551676. Charges approved by Sergeant James Tredore.
Records Clerk [REDACTED], conducted a serial number check on the recovered firearm. The serial number returned with no hits. [REDACTED] also conducted a criminal history check on Jykerion Crawford, which returned negative for any prior criminal history.
Warrants accepted and Records received-Records Clerk [REDACTED].
