On Thursday, March 12, 2026 around 0047 hours, I Deputy Brandon Watson along with Deputy Malcolm Bowens and Deputy Carole Romero responded to [2900 BLOCK] Cross Creek Rd in reference to a domestic involving a knife.
Upon arrival, Deputy Watson approached the front door and knocked. The listed Primary Aggressor (Marta Oconner-Suarez), answered the door and led me to the couch in the livingroom of the residence where the listed victim [VICTIM #1], was sitting. Marta stated spontaneously uttered she had an episode and grabbed a knife and cut [VICTIM #1].
Marta was placed into handcuffs and placed into the rear of Deputy Watson’s marked patrol unit. I read Marta her Miranda Warning and she refused to talk any further. Deputy Watson went back into the residence and noticed a puncture wound to the left side of [VICTIM #1]’s head. It was also observed that [VICTIM #1] had superficial cuts to his left cheek and throat. It was also observed that multiple knifes were in the floor of the kitchen.
Deputy Romero and Deputy Bowens arrived on scene. Deputies observed a broken Samsung television broken from the altercation valued at $600.00. Med unit 13 arrived on scene and assessed [VICTIM #1]’s injuries. [VICTIM #1] refused transport to the hospital due to not having a ride back home.
I went outside where Cpl. Christopher Lucree arrived on scene and provided necessary information for CID. Marta asked to talk while in the rear of the patrol car despite not being asked questions.
Marta stated she was going to end her own life due to having cancer. Marta stated she went to the kitchen and grabbed and knife. Marta stated at that point [VICTIM #1] came into the kitchen to grab the knife from her and she got angry and snapped. Marta stated she did not mean to hurt [VICTIM #1].
