[VICTIM #1] stated that she just pulled up to her residence at [1100 BLOCK] Gordon Street when she noticed a black GMC truck pulled up and a male, whom she possibly knows as Taylor, got out and started to approach her. [VICTIM #1] stated that she had made shirts for this male before through her business, and he had to come to her residence to pick up the product, which is how he knew where she lived.

[VICTIM #1] stated that today the male pulled up and started walking towards her, being friendly. [VICTIM #1] stated that he was asking her how she was doing and that he had not seen her in a while. [VICTIM #1] stated that he was using small talk, and as soon as he got close to her, he snatched her purse that was sitting on the left side of her lap and took off running back to his GMC (Unknown). [VICTIM #1] stated that she then started to chase Taylor to his vehicle, and as he was attempting to get into the vehicle, she grabbed him by his hair. [VICTIM #1] stated that she kept trying to get her belongings back, and Taylor then started punching her in the face multiple times.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she was not letting go, and Taylor was able to get the keys in the ignition as she was holding him, and he placed the truck into drive while still clinging onto her purse and started driving. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was holding on to his head still as they were driving down Gordon Street. [VICTIM #1] stated that Taylor was able to push her off, and when she fell on the ground, the back driver’s tire ran her over. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did pull out two locks of Taylor’s hair during this altercation.

[VICTIM #1] stated that the following items were inside her Black purse ($12.99) Wallet ($9.99), Chime Card ($1.00), Sam’s Card ($1.00), Medication Oxycodone, as well as blood pressure pills ($1.00), and ($1600.00 in cash.

Deputies contacted CID and Inv. Pettite 723 arrived on scene at the hospital, and the rest of the investigation was turned over to him.
