On March 4th, 2026, at 1211 hours, Deputy Mauratae Johnson and Desmeion Robbins responded to [400 BLOCK] Hale St. for an Indecency call.
Upon arrival, Deputy Johnson made contact with [WITNESS #1], the maintenance man for Village Square at Old Town. [WITNESS #1] stated that Quamaine Walker, who lives in Apt [REDACTED] has been walking around the [REDACTED] building naked. [WITNESS #1] stated that, in addition to walking around naked, Walker was damaging property as well. [WITNESS #1] stated that Walker has broken 2 fire extinguisher cases and taken 2 extinguishers (worth approximately $200 each) to his vehicle, a green 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, GA tag [REDACTED], in the parking lot.
[WITNESS #2] witnessed Walker walking around the front of the building. Deputy Johnson made contact with [WITNESS #2], who stated that he is a City of Augusta meter reader and that he witnessed Walker, without any clothes on go up and down the stairs back and forth to a green 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, GA tag [REDACTED], in the parking lot.
Deputy Johnson and Robbins made contact with Walker by knocking on the door of Apt [REDACTED]. Walker opened the door naked and was directed by Deputy Robbins to put on some pants. Walker asked Deputy Johnson and Deputy Robbins to enter the apartment while he got some pants, and Walker was detained.
Deputy Johnson read Walker his Miranda Rights and asked Walker if he’d taken the fire extinguishers. Walker admitted to taking the fire extinguishers and putting them in the back of his green 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, GA tag [REDACTED].
Deputy Johnson returned the 2 fire extinguishers to [WITNESS #1].
[WITNESS #1] was given a case card and was advised on how to obtain a copy of the report.
Walker was taken into custody and transported to CBWDC.
Warrants were applied for and received, and spoke to [REDACTED] in Records.
