[NARRATIVE #1 on October 14, 2025]
Deputy David Hopkins responded to a call on 10/14/25 at [3600 BLOCK] Meadowlark Drive in reference to an assault.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Mr. [VICTIM #1] and Mr. [VICTIM #2], who both stated that while driving from work on I-520 eastbound in front of the Sam’s Club, they were approached by a white Chevy SUV. Mr. [VICTIM #1] and Mr. [VICTIM #2] stated that they then observed Mr. Cooper was the driver of that vehicle, and he began to wave a firearm out the window. That’s when Mr. [VICTIM #1], who was driving, accelerated when Mr. Cooper fired one shot into the rear window of his vehicle.
Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he knows the suspect from working at Club Car, but has never had direct interaction with the suspect. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he does know that Mr. Cooper wanted a relationship with a woman who also works at Club Car, named [REDACTED], and that he had previous relations with [REDACTED].
CID was notified, and the case was taken over by Investigator Dakota.

[NARRATIVE #2 on October 19, 2025]
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Deputy Aaron Mitchell (122) responded to [3600 BLOCK] Meadowlark Drive in reference to harassment, but it was a supplemental to case number 25-201651 from Deputy David Hopkins (128).
Ms. [VICTIM #1] (other) advised that suspect, Rashad Cooper called her daughter, Ms. [REDACTED] (other) phone wanting to resolve the following incident of him shooting at her son. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Cooper had his mother Ms. [REDACTED] (other) speak on his behalf during the conversation. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not wish to continue the conversation, so she advised her that Mr. Cooper is a grown man and needs to take responsibility for his action, so she told her not to call her family. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she recorded the conversation and will play it for Deputies.
I listened to the recording and heard a male (possibly Mr. Cooper) give the phone to who he introduced as his mother, Ms. [REDACTED] (other), wanting to resolve the incident to avoid charges. I recorded withn my Axon body camera of the playback conversation from Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s phone.
