On April 26, 2026, I, Deputy Tiyana Grimes (#324), and Handsome Johnson (#327), were dispatched to [REDACTED] (Residence) in reference to Domestic Violence.

Upon arrival, we spoke to [VICTIM #1] (Victim/Girlfriend), who stated that she and Raymond Carter (Primary Aggressor/Boyfriend) had been residing together. She stated that he returned to the residence between 0100 and 0200 hours intoxicated. [VICTIM #1] stated that around 0300 hours, she and Raymond got into a verbal argument because he called her another female’s name. [VICTIM #1] stated that Raymond has a history of infidelity, and during the course of the argument, Raymond became irate and started yelling and stating that it’s his house, he pays all the bills, and he can do what he wants.

[VICTIM #1] stated that Raymond then went into their children’s room, where they were sleeping. She told Raymond to leave them alone, and Raymond replied, “They are my kids; I can do what I want.” [VICTIM #1] stated Raymond slapped [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (Victim/Son) in the back of his head with an open hand and grabbed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (Victim/Son) by his ankles, dragged him, and attempted to strike him in his face.

[VICTIM #1] stated she grabbed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (Victim/Son), and Raymond snatched [REDACTED BY AGENCY] from her and slapped him with an open hand. [VICTIM #1] stated that Raymond began striking her with a closed fist to her head and then began choking her. [VICTIM #1] stated she fought back during the physical altercation.

We then spoke to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated Raymond grabbed him by his ankles and attempted to strike him in his face, but he covered his head so he couldn’t.

We also spoke to Raymond (Intoxicated), who stated that this incident occurred because he was cheating on [VICTIM #1] and they never got into a physical altercation. Raymond stated that [VICTIM #1]’s injuries were self-inflicted, and she caused harm to herself on purpose and told him she was going to call the police and tell them he did it.

While on scene, deputies did not observe any apparent injuries to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] or [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [VICTIM #1] sustained a minor abrasion to the left side of her face, several scratches to the left and right sides of her neck, and a scratch to her left forearm.

Raymond was arrested and transported to Richmond County Jail by Deputy Johnson without incident. [VICTIM #1] was treated by MED 13 on scene. [VICTIM #1] was given a case card and informed that a report would be on file. All injuries were photographed and attached to this report in Evidence.com. Sgt. S. Brown (CID), Sgt. Poston (B-33) and [REDACTED] in Records were notified.

Warrants applied for.
