On 02/03/2025, at 0705 hours, I, Deputy Tahaj Smith, and Deputy Robert Glenn responded to 1537 Walton Way (Select Specialty Hospital) in reference to a suspicious situation.

Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with [WITNESS #1] (Complainant), who stated at 0449 hours on 02/03/2025, she witnessed a visitor of the hospital, Richard Jimenez (Other), rubbing his hand on the exposed cl*toris of non-verbal patient, [VICTIM #1] (Other).

[WITNESS #1] stated she entered the room to apply a Purewick to [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] advised a Purewick is an instrument used to vacuum up any urine from an immobile patient. [WITNESS #1] stated Jimenez informed her he was rubbing [VICTIM #1]’s cl*toris to assist with urination. [WITNESS #1] stated to Deputies Jimenez’s actions were unnecessary for what he was claiming to be doing. [WITNESS #1] stated she felt [VICTIM #1] was uncomfortable with her being there, so she left the room.

[WITNESS #1] stated she knocked on and re-entered the patient room at 0545 hours and witnessed Jimenez’s exposed p*nis in his hand while mast*rbating. [WITNESS #1] stated when she entered the room, Jimenez dropped down to the floor, in an effort to hide himself. [WITNESS #1] stated Jimenez asked to decline whatever service she was there to provide at that time. [WITNESS #1] stated she left the room at the request of Jimenez.

[WITNESS #1] stated she noticed the bed alarm had sounded around 0600 hours and re-entered the patient room to find Jimenez walking around the room topless. [WITNESS #1] stated Jimenez informed her he pulled [VICTIM #1] up in the bed to apply her restraints so that he could take a shower. [WITNESS #1] stated she could smell alcohol throughout the room and on Jimenez.

When questioned by Deputies, Jimenez stated he is the husband of [VICTIM #1]. Jimenez stated he was not touching her cl*toris for either of their sexual gratification, but to assist with applying the Purewick. Jimenez stated he was in the process of removing his clothing to take a shower.

Deputies confirmed that hospital records do list Richard Jimenez as the spouse of [VICTIM #1]; however, the Director of Quality Management, [WITNESS #2] (Other), stated she does not recognize Jimenez. Due to [VICTIM #1] being non-verbal, I was unable to get a statement from her. [WITNESS #2] informed Deputies that there are no cameras in the room, per their policy.

[WITNESS #2] informed Deputies that Jimenez is no longer welcomed on the property. Deputy Glenn informed Jimenez that he had been trespassed from the hospital and that should he return for any reason, he would be arrested for Criminal Trespass, to which, Jimenez stated he understood and would not return.

I provided [WITNESS #2] with a case card, case number, and advised on how to obtain a copy of the case report for their records.
