On 01/02/2026 at 1857 hrs, I, Deputy Dana Taylor/334 responded to [1800 BLOCK] Heathers Way in reference to an Assault.

Upon arrival, I spoke with [WITNESS #1] (Witness), who stated that her son, Stephen Bonner (Primary Aggressor), had stabbed her husband, [VICTIM #1] (Victim). [WITNESS #1] stated that she and [VICTIM #1] were in the bedroom watching TV when Stephen came into the room and stabbed [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated that she did not know what happened until [VICTIM #1] told her that Stephen had stabbed him.

[WITNESS #1] stated that Stephen dropped the knife and ran out of the residence after he had stabbed [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated that she picked up the knife and dropped it in the kitchen. [WITNESS #1] stated that Stephen thought [VICTIM #1] was an intruder in the residence. [WITNESS #1] stated that Stephen was wearing a black leather jacket and dark blue jeans.

I spoke with [VICTIM #1], who stated that Stephen had stabbed him. [VICTIM #1] stated that he did not notice the knife at first until he was stabbed. [VICTIM #1] sustained one stab wound to the upper sternum from a black 4-inch kitchen knife. [VICTIM #1] was transported to Wellstar by Med12 in stable condition. [VICTIM #1] was treated at Wellstar and discharged.

I spoke with Stephen who stated that he thought [VICTIM #1] was a Cannibal and was going to eat him. Miranda was read and refused. Stephen was transported to RCJ. [REDACTED] in Records was notified about Warrants.
