On 05/21/2025 at 1950 hours the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to [2500 BLOCK] Lumpkin Road Apartment [REDACTED] at the Brick Haven Apartment Complex in reference to a subject with a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival deputies located [VICTIM #1] with at least one gunshot wound lying on the ground unresponsive in front of apartment [REDACTED]. [VICTIM #1] was later transported to Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center by EMS where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries by MCG Health Attending Physician [REDACTED] at 2020 hours. The investigation was turned over to CID.
