RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. – Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 47-year-old Waynesboro man on December 17, 2024, for forcing entry into an Augusta woman’s home and raping her the day prior. Nathaniel Addr White faces charges of first-degree burglary and rape.
The 33-year-old victim explained that she and White had been talking, but she ended the relationship a few weeks ago when she discovered he had a girlfriend. She said he forced his way inside her residence when she answered a knock at her door expecting someone else.
He grabbed her arms and flung her onto the couch, pinning her down. Gripping her wrists with one hand, he used his other hand to pull down his pants and her shorts and raped her.
She said White attempted to stay at the residence, but she told him he had to leave. He drove off in his Chevrolet Trailblazer.
The deputy noted that no visible injuries were observed on the victim. This case is pending in court.

On Monday December 16, 2024, at 2050 hours, I, Deputy Amanda Bruneio (303) responded to 1350 Walton Way (Piedmont) in reference to a sexual assault.
On arrival, I met with [VICTIM #1] (Victim) who stated that at approximately 0300 hours, Nathaniel White), knocked on her door. [VICTIM #1] stated that she answered the door expecting someone else, when White forced his way into her residence. [VICTIM #1] stated that White then grabbed her by the arms and threw her onto the couch while pinning her down. [VICTIM #1] stated that White kept a grip on her wrists with one of his hands while he used the other hand to pull her shorts down and his pants down. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [VICTIM #1] stated that White did finish. [VICTIM #1] stated White attempted to stay at the residence, but she told him he had to leave. [VICTIM #1] stated that White left in his Chevrolet Trailblazer. [VICTIM #1] stated that it took so long to report due to starting a new job and was unable to make contact with her supervisor, plus she had to arrange for child care. [VICTIM #1] stated that her and White had been talking, but when she found out he had a girlfriend she ended things with him a few weeks ago.
Cpl. Pettite was notified. CID was notified. Inv. Carter (717) responded. The case was turned over to CID. No injuries were observed on [VICTIM #1] at the time of call.
[VICTIM #1] was given a case card and advised of services.
