On Sunday, November 9, 2025, at approximately 0112 hours, I, Deputy Thomas Ray, was dispatched to [1500 BLOCK] Twiggs Street in reference to an assault.
Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1], who had serious lacerations to the face. [VICTIM #1] stated she was walking, and a Hispanic male offered her a ride. [VICTIM #1] stated that she accepted the ride, and when they arrived in the parking lot of the complex near the front entrance, the male attempted to snatch her purse while stabbing her in the face with a beer bottle.
[VICTIM #1] seemed very hesitant to speak to Deputies.
[VICTIM #1] stated that the Hispanic male then ran down Davis Street, leaving the white Toyota Camry (SC Tag: [REDACTED]; Last 6 of VIN: [REDACTED]) in the parking lot. From the Registration Tag and [VICTIM #1]’s confirmation, the Hispanic male was identified as Alexandr Wilber Martinez Duran. While speaking to Deputies [VICTIM #1] dropped a pair of silver scissors on the ground with blood on them. Central EMS arrived on scene and transported [VICTIM #1] to Wellstar Medical Hospital for treatment.
CID Investigator Baughman 736 arrived on scene, where the case was turned over.
