On 122725 at 2048 hours Deputy Madisen Emerson responded to 1991 Broad Street (Family Dollar) in reference to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, I spoke to [VICTIM #1] (victim/manager) who stated Travis Hamilton (suspect) and Zachariah Jenkins (suspect) entered the above location while she was located at cash register number one. [VICTIM #1] stated Jenkins pulled out a handgun (NOD) and told her to empty the cash register.

[VICTIM #1] stated Hamilton stood behind Jenkins during the incident. [VICTIM #1] stated Jenkins took $1184.71 from cash register number one and fled the scene on foot towards Curry Street. [VICTIM #1] stated [VICTIM #2] (victim) was located inside the above location at time of incident. [VICTIM #1] stated video footage was unavailable at time of call.

While on scene, I spoke to [VICTIM #3] (victim) who stated he was parked in front of the above location in a gray Kia (Temporary SC Tag: [REDACTED]) (NOD). [VICTIM #3] stated he witnessed Hamilton and Jenkins enter the above location when Jenkins pulled out a handgun near cash register number one.

[VICTIM #3] stated Hamilton was located behind Jenkins and did not appear to have a firearm. [VICTIM #3] stated Hamilton fled the scene prior to Jenkins. [VICTIM #3] stated Jenkins placed money into his pockets and fled the scene towards Curry Street. [VICTIM #3] stated he chased Jenkins towards Curry Street in his vehicle and stuck him with the vehicle causing possible injuries to Jenkins legs.

[VICTIM #3] stated Jenkins fired one shot at his vehicle while he was located in the driver’s seat. [VICTIM #3] stated he did not have damage to his vehicle. [VICTIM #3] stated Jenkins fled on Curry Street near Clark Street on foot when he lost sight of him.

Additionally, I spoke to Hamilton who notified dispatch of his location to surrender for the above crime. Hamilton stated he recently met Jenkins and provided no further information.

Deputies investigation showed a shell casing near the rear of the above location. The shell casing was collected by CID. No damage to [VICTIM #3]’s vehicle. No video footage was captured due to not being available at time of call. Hamilton was detained and transported to CID.
