On November 13, 2025 at approximately 1227 hours, I responded to 1297 Dogwood Drive, Americas Best Value Inn, in reference to a person refusing to leave. Upon arrival I met with Sgt. Hardwick who already spoke with staff. She advised the manager wanted the person in room [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to leave and to be trespassed from the location.

We made contact with the subject later identified as Alexis Penton. We advised her it was time to leave and she could not return. She stated she would leave, but would not take the dog that was in the room with her. We advised her that was fine, she could leave the dog and we would have animal control take possession of it. She packed her bags, but then refused to leave after multiple lawful commands for her to do so. I advised her one last time to leave the room. She refused.

I advised her Penton she was under arrest. I reached out and grabbed her left wrist and she began resisting. Sgt. Crawford was on scene and he took control of her right arm. After a brief struggle, we were able to place hands behind her back. Sgt. Hardwick entered the room and placed handcuffs.

She was secured in the rear of my patrol vehicle and transported to the Rockdale County Jail where she was turned over to jail staff. She was issued two citations for Disorderly Conduct (disobeying lawful commands) 11-1-1.
