[NARRATIVE #2 on November 02, 2025]
On Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, at approximately 1601 hours, I was dispatched to [500 BLOCK] Pine Log Road, Unit [REDACTED], in reference to a reported domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, I observed that Cpl. Stoltz had already arrived on scene and located two subjects actively engaged in a physical altercation inside the residence. Various items were being thrown from the home during the disturbance. The altercation then spilled outside, where both individuals were separated by officers. Despite being separated, both continued to act in a disorderly manner in public, causing alarm to nearby residents and drawing a crowd of onlookers.
I made contact with the male subject, later identified as David Bookrum. At the time of contact, David was standing inside the doorway, continuing to throw clothing items toward the involved female, later identified as Loretha Milcette. I issued clear and lawful verbal commands for David to exit the residence, which he initially refused. He was instructed multiple times to step toward officers as he attempted to retreat further into the home.
After repeated commands, David eventually complied and stepped outside, where he was detained in handcuffs. While being detained, David exhibited slight physical resistance and continued to yell loudly, further contributing to a breach of the peace. He was subsequently escorted to my patrol vehicle and secured safely in the rear seat.
While in custody, David stated that he and Loretha are in a romantic relationship. He advised that Loretha does not live at the residence but has been staying there temporarily and keeps many personal belongings inside. David explained that Loretha had left earlier in the day and returned intoxicated. He stated that he was sitting in the living room playing video games while she began cooking dinner.
According to David, she later went into the bathroom and he overheard her on the phone claiming that he was harming her. He asked her what was going on but returned to his game. When Loretha exited the bathroom, she allegedly initiated a physical altercation and began destroying items in the home, including pots, pans, his gaming system, the television, and furniture. David claimed that Loretha had previously been evicted from her own residence and that he was allowing her to stay with him temporarily. David did not have any visible injuries at the time of contact.
After speaking with David, I approached officers who were interviewing Loretha. Loretha stated that David wanted her to leave the residence and had grabbed her wig and thrown it. She admitted to charging at David, which initiated the physical altercation. Loretha denied damaging any property and claimed that David attempted to forcibly remove her from the residence. Loretha also continued to engage in a verbal dispute with David in public, further causing a disturbance and a breach of the peace.
Upon inspecting the residence, I observed significant damage and disorder consistent with a violent altercation. Multiple items were scattered throughout the area. A gaming console was found lying on its side in a liquid substance. The television was on the floor, couches were displaced, and trash had been torn open and thrown about. In the kitchen, the stovetop was left on with food overturned both in a pot and splattered along the walls.
Based on the physical evidence at the scene, the observed property damage, and statements from both involved parties, probable cause was established to determine that a domestic-related altercation had occurred. Both David and Loretha were placed under arrest for their involvement.
Each subject was handcuffed behind their back, double-locked, and checked for proper fit. They were transported separately to the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office Jail, where they were turned over to detention staff for booking without incident.
Warrants will be sought for Disorderly Conduct, Affray, Criminal Damage to Property, Simple Battery, and Obstruction.
