On June 22, 2024, I, Major LeJohn Tate received a call from a resident of Carroline subdivision. The resident advised that Mr. Wilson was having another party and that she was calling it in. I know of Mr. Wilson due to the extensive history of parties he has held at his residence. The history resulted in HOA meetings, several citations, and an uneasy relationship with Mr. Wilson and his neighbors.
In December of 2023, I received calls from several residents as it pertains to what they would call a property possibly having sexual parties. I spoke with the residents and received video footage of female subjects leaving Mr. Wilsons residence in the early morning hours half naked and condoms on the front yard. In addition, video footage displayed shots being fired after a party held at Mr. Wilsons residence. After this discovery, I went and personally spoke with Mr. Wilson regarding the parties and advised him that if he is in violation of any county ordinance or law that he would be held accountable. Mr. Wilson advised that he was clear on the direction of RCSO.
Weeks after, Mr. Wilson had another party resulting in deputies responding to the address and issuing a citation. This was not the first violation. After the citation, I went out and spoke with Mr. Wilson and Mr. Wimberly who advised he was always a resident at that location. I advised them both that they are constantly violating county ordinances and laws. They advised that they would change their behavior. For a few months the parties slowed down.
On June 21, 2024, I received a call from residences of Carroline subdivision advising that Mr. Wilson and Mr. Wimberly was having another party. I gave instruction to the responding deputy to go out and cite them and shut the party down. Hours after shutting the party down, Mr. Wilson and Wimberly had subjects return to the house and video footage shows subjects yelling in the middle of the road at 2:00am.
Once I received a call from the residences on June 23, 2024, I personally responded to the location. Mr. Wimberly came to the door, I asked “it’s you and one other guy who owns this residence correct” he advised yes. I told him go and get the other gentleman. Both Mr. Wilson and Wimberly came outside. I advised everyone else to stay inside. While speaking to both subjects I advised them that they were cited the night before and that I personally spoke with them regarding the parties. I then told Mr. Wilson to turn around and place his hands behind his back. At that time, Mr. Wilson began obstructing. He grab on to the glass door while the arrest was being made causing the door to come off the hinges. Mr. Wilson was then taking into custody after a struggle.
During the altercation, Mr. Wimberly went back inside the residence. Not knowing Mr. Wimberlys intent, I had everyone exit the residence. Ms. Dawson was standing near the door without a shirt. Ms. Dawson was shirtless and braless. I told her to exit the residence due to Mr. Wimberly entering the residence and not knowing his intent. Ms. Dawson became hostile and began being disorderly. I instructed Deputy Matthews 2982 to place her in custody. While in custody, Ms. Dawson was yelling and being hostile. She asked for a shirt and one of the subjects inside handed me a shirt for her that I gave Ms. Dawson.
Ms. Dawson refused to put the shirt on saying that it wasn’t her shirt. I instructed her to sit down near the front door and she refused. I then went hands on and placed her on the ground. She got back up and continued being hostile (yelling, cursing, and walking towards me). I instructed Deputy Matthews to take her to the patrol vehicle. Shortly after removing subjects from the residence, I entered and placed Mr. Wimberly in custody without incident.
Ms. Dawson was arrested for Disorderly conduct on a magistrate citation.
