On 09/22/2024 at approximately 0721 hours was dispatched to 2291 SIGMAN RD SW; HOP IN in reference to a person down.

Upon my arrival, I witnessed a white male identified as Jay Reed lying down in front of the store. After a few attempts deputies were able to wake up Mr. Reed, and that is when he began to become irrate. Mr. Reed was told to leave the property, which he complied and walked away. Mr. Reed relocated to the Shell 2300 Sigman Rd and sat inside the bathroom. I then went inside and spoke with the clerk and advised him if he wanted Mr. Reed to leave he was free to call us.

A few hours later I received a call at 2260 Sigman Rd Waffle House, advising of a white male having locked himself in the bathroom for over an hour, then walking out and sitting by the side of the building. Mr. Reed has not conducted any business with any of the establishments today. Upon making contact I placed Mr. Reed in custody for Disorderly Conduct 66-1 (10).

I transported Mr. Reed to Rockdale County intake from processing. Once cleared by the nurse I turned over custody to Jail staff and left without further incident.
