On November 7, 2025, I, Deputy Heyward #3053, responded to a report of a domestic assault at [2000 BLOCK] Jessica Way. Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and her children, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
While interviewing [VICTIM #1] and her children, [VICTIM #1] explained what had occurred prior to law enforcement’s arrival. She stated that she and the father of her son, Timothy Evans, were involved in a verbal dispute regarding the way he spoke to her daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. According to [VICTIM #1], Timothy attempted to verbally correct [REDACTED BY AGENCY] behavior in a manner she found inappropriate.
[VICTIM #1] advised that although the altercation did not become physical, it was intense enough that she and her children no longer felt safe with Timothy remaining in the residence. She also informed me that a firearm was present in the home, which she had purchased but was primarily for Timothys use.
While speaking with [VICTIM #1] and her children on the front porch, all parties appeared to be in reasonable fear of immediate harm by shouting “F*ck you” among other insulting words, in [VICTIM #1]s’ face preventing her freedom of movement. They repeatedly stated that they “didn’t know what Timothy might do” and did not want him in the residence, as they believed he posed a risk to their safety.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] explained that the argument began when she and her brother, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]., were playing in the garage. Timothy Sr. instructed them to stop “horseplaying,” believing their behavior was more serious. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that after the children stopped playing, she asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. to get her two Hot Pockets from the deep freezer, Timothy began to get irate because he assumed the hot pockets contained pork, due to religious reasons they do not consume pork. At that point, Timothy Sr. began scolding [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in a manner that made her feel intimidated and uncomfortable, prompting her to inform her mother.
[VICTIM #1] then confronted Timothy about why he had spoken to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in an aggressive manner rather than addressing her directly. This led to a verbal argument, during which [REDACTED BY AGENCY] felt the need to retrieve a kitchen knife to protect her mother. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] later contacted law enforcement, though it was unclear how the argument concluded prior to our arrival.
After interviewing [VICTIM #1] and her children, I requested permission to enter the residence. [VICTIM #1] instructed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to let me inside. Upon entry, I called out for Timothy by name to make my presence known. Before I could explain the reason for my presence, Timothy shouted, “What? Who the f*** is calling my name?” and began walking toward me aggressively with clenched fists.
Fearing that Timothy might initiate a physical altercation, I assumed a bladed stance and gave several verbal commands for him to calm down and step outside. Timothy refused to comply with any lawful orders and continued to cause a disruption, shouting that he was “Ready to die ” and interfering with my investigation. When instructed to turn around, he again refused.
At that point, I holstered my Taser and physically attempted to place Timothy into custody. He resisted by tensing his arms and stiffening his body in an attempt to hinder the arrest. After several verbal commands to place his hands behind his back. While walking Timothy to my patrol vehicle he threw himself to the ground claiming Law Enforcement Officers “slammed him on his chest”. Timothy eventually complied and was taken into custody without further incident.
Timothy was charged with the following offenses
OCGA 16-5-20 – Simple Assault Family Violence
OCGA 16-10-24(a) – Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer
OCGA 16-11-131 – Рossession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Timothy was initially transported to the Rockdale County Jail but was denied intake due to prior medical conditions. He was then transported to Rockdale Piedmont Hospital, medically cleared, and returned to the Rockdale County Jail without further incident.
