On August 4, 2022, at approximately 02:24 HRS I Officer Groomes conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling East on 3rd Street turning onto Roberts Ave. at its intersection with E 5th Street Donalsonville Ga./Seminole County Ga for failure to use a turn signal.

Upon approaching the vehicle, I introduce myself to the driver and the passenger of the vehicle (both females) and explain to them the reason for my stop. While talking to the occupants of the vehicle I realize that they both were sweating heavily and that they were very jittery. I asked the driver for her drivers license and she then presented them to me.

While walking back to my patrol car, Sgt. Long along with Deputy Poague and SO Unit 17 arrive on scene of my traffic stop. After running the driver’s OLN through dispatch, they advised me that she was active and valid and that she did not have any warrants. The driver was identified as Linda Bass out of Hartford Alabama. Upon approaching the vehicle again, the driver got out of the vehicle and looked under the hood and told me that her vehicle was running hot. I then asked Ms. Bass if there was anything in the vehicle that was not supposed to be, and she told me no. I asked Ms. Bass if she would mind if I searched her vehicle and she told me that she did not mind at all. After getting consent to search the vehicle I advise Ms. Bass and the passenger, who was later identified as Aubree Nicole Frazee, to step back to the front of my patrol car and stand with Sgt. Long and Deputy Poague. SO Unit 17 helped me conduct a search of the vehicle.

I began my search on the front driver side of the vehicle. While searching the vehicle. I saw a wallet on the dashboard in front of the steering wheel. As I opened the wallet, I found a small clear plastic baggy with a white substance inside of it. Ms. Bass stated to me that it was nothing but salt. Deputy Poague then brought out a field test kit to test the substance and see if it came back positive for any narcotics. The field test kit turned blue in color indicating that the white substance tested positive for Methamphetamine. I then placed the white substance in an evidence bag and put it inside my patrol car. SO Unit 17 also found a small clear plastic container on the front passenger side of the vehicle that Ms. Bass also stated was salt. The small clear plastic container turned out to actually be salt.

At this time. I place Ms. Bass in handcuffs for possession of Methamphetamine and walked her to the backseat of my patrol car and advised her of her rights. While reading Ms. Bass her Miranda Rights, the passenger (Aubree Frazee) took off running on foot into the grass and jumped into bushes just West of where I conducted the stop. Deputy Poague along with SO Unit 17 caught her and placed her in the backseat of Sgt. Long’s patrol car. At this time. I advise dispatch to get a rotational wrecker in route to our location. Deputy Poague along with SO Unit 17 told me that they would stay and wait for the wrecker while me and Sgt. Long transported the two females to the Seminole County Jail.

At approximately 02:56 HRS. myself and Sgt. Long are in route to the Seminole County Jail. Upon arrival at approximately 02:59 HRS, Sgt. Long said that he went inside the jail to get a mask and came back to his patrol car and the female subject had climbed out the back window and ran out of the gates at the jail. We advise dispatch that the female subject had taken off running and that we were all going to look for her. I along with Sgt. Long, Deputy Poague, and SO Unit 17 patrolled the area searching for the subject. After approximately 15 minutes of looking for the subject, we find her in front of the Seminole County Jail hiding under a vehicle. I pulled the subject front underneath the car and placed her in the backseat of my patrol car.

After getting back inside the jail, dispatcher [REDACTED] came to the back to watch the Aubree Frazee subject change out her clothes. While the subject was changing [REDACTED] advised us that the female had a meth pipe fall from her vag*nal area with blood on it. Jailer Louie Lawson placed the pipe inside of a clear plastic bag and said that he would contact Investigator Kale King and see what wanted to do with it. At this time the two female subjects were booked in.

Linda Bass was charged with failure to use a turn signal (O.C.G.A. 40-6-123 B) and Possession of Methamphetamine (O.C.G.A. 16-13-30). Aubree Frazee was charged with 4 counts of Obstructing Law Enforcement Officers (O.C.G.A. 16-10-24) and Escape (O.C.G.A. 16-10-52).

At approximately 03:08 HRS all PD units and SO units return to service. Warrants to follow.

(I Officer Groomes was later advised to take the pipe and keep it as evidence. Pipe was placed in temporary evidence locker number 10 at the Donalsonville Police Department for evidence.)
