On 10.12.2025 at approximately 0635 hours, I, Deputy Bullock 222, responded in non emergency mode to [400 BLOCK] Elizabeth Ln in reference to a suspicious person.

Contact was made with a subject, located at [300 BLOCK] Elizabeth Ln, stating he shot someone at his residence, [400 BLOCK] Elizabeth Ln. The subject, identified as Andrew Thompson, was placed in the rear of Deputy Speight’s vehicle and brought to the location of his residence to wait for CID.

Upon my arrival at [400 BLOCK] Elizabeth Ln, myself and assisting Deputies made our way to the front door, which was open, with a male subject inside moaning. Entrance was made into the residence which was cleared for any possible threats. A male was observed lying on the floor of the hallway to the right of the entrance, with blood all over his body and the area he was lying.

An open wound was visible on the male’s left elbow. The victim, [VICTIM #1], advised he had no idea what happened. [VICTIM #1] informed me he had been at a rockfest in Stone Mountain, Georgia the previous night with some friends. The next thing [VICTIM #1] knew, he was at home lying on the floor, bleeding, with an open wound to his left elbow.

The wound was wrapped to keep bleeding controlled by Deputy Zimbleman 221. Neighbors, who made the 911 calls, were spoken to.

Involved others, [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2], located at [100 BLOCK] Oakwood Cir, advised they heard two initial, “pop! pop! gun shots”, then approximately four to six minutes later, they heard several more rounds from a different sounding gun. [WITNESS #1] advised she stuck her head out of the front door and saw a male figure walking back and forth on the porch area of [400 BLOCK] Elizabeth Ln. [WITNESS #1] stated to me she yelled at the figure to, “Stop that”, meaning the shooting, because [WITNESS #1] has young children, “and those bullets have to go somewhere.” [WITNESS #1] also advised, “People shoot all the time over here, just usually never this early”.

[WITNESS #1] advised after she yelled at the male, he ran down the road to her residence, yelling, “You’re one of them!”, and started making his way to [WITNESS #1]’s front yard. [WITNESS #1] advised the male he needed to stay away and let her know if there was any way she could help him, but not to come closer to her residence. [WITNESS #1] advised he then ran up the street and disappeared.

Another neighbor, involved other, [WITNESS #3], who resides at [100 BLOCK] Oakwood Cir, advised all she heard were shots fired. [WITNESS #3] stated to me she was up watching TV when she heard the shots, Afterwards, she turned off all her lights and, “got down on the floor.”

Involved other, [WITNESS #4], who resides at [100 BLOCK] Oakwood Cir, was spoken to, as he was another caller. [WITNESS #4] advised he heard shots fired and looked out the window. [WITNESS #4] informed me he saw a male running down the road in just his underwear. [WITNESS #4] stated there was an older model SUV or van, dark in color, driving down the road. [WITNESS #4] informed me the vehicle drove down Elizabeth Ln, left, and came back down the road. [WITNESS #4] advised when the vehicle drove back down Elizabeth Ln, more shots were fired. [WITNESS #4] was adamant the shots didn’t come from the vehicle. [WITNESS #4] believes the vehicle frequents the neighborhood and just happened to be in the area at the time.

[VICTIM #1] was flown via life flight to Grady Hospital.

CID Investigator Krysha Roberts and CSI Investigator Corey Waddell arrived on scene and took over.
