On 04/26/2026, at approximately 2054 hours, Deputy Andrade (226) was dispatched to [REDACTED], Spalding County, about a report of a domestic dispute. I responded in non-emergency mode.
Upon arriving at the scene, I met with [VICTIM #1], who informed me that her aunt, Kimberly Monroe, with whom she had been living, accused her of calling the police earlier in the day, which led to Kimberly’s boyfriend being arrested.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] explained that she was sitting on the bed when Kimberly began to yell at her, claiming that she was the one who called the police. Kimberly then threw a metal bottle at [VICTIM #1], which initiated a physical altercation between them. Kimberly reported that she was bitten in the right breast area and was bleeding, and she also claimed to have been hit in the stomach. Ms. [VICTIM #1] mentioned that she is pregnant and showed me a hospital release document confirming this.
Later, Deputy Reeves arrived. As we were about to enter the home, Ms. [VICTIM #1] informed me that Kimberly had gone to retrieve her firearm from her bedroom. Deputy Reeves and I announced our presence and were able to detain Ms. Kimberly.
Ms. Kimberly was read her Miranda rights and agreed to speak with us without an attorney present. She stated that she approached Ms. [VICTIM #1] to ask about who had called the police earlier. According to Ms. Kimberly, Ms. [VICTIM #1] then attacked her, pinned her to the ground, and choked her with her shirt. Ms. Kimberly also claimed that Ms. [VICTIM #1] threw a hair comb at her, but it missed and hit the wall behind her.
I then spoke with Ms. Kimberly’s daughters. Juvenile 1 reported hearing her mother yelling first, followed by the sound of something hitting a wall. Juvenile 2 stated that Ms. Kimberly initiated the altercation and that Ms. [VICTIM #1] was defending herself However, Juvenile 3 asserted that Ms. [VICTIM #1] started the conflict and that Ms. Kimberly was defending herself
Ms. Kimberly had redness around the left side of her neck and near her left eye.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] had a what appeared to be a bite mark in her breast area. Ms. Kimberly denied biting [VICTIM #1] when asked about it.
I took photographs of all the injuries and collected written statements from the juveniles.
Additionally, Ms. [VICTIM #1] showed me a voice recording that captured the exchange, where I could hear Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. Kimberly yelling. In the recording, Ms. [VICTIM #1] yelled at Ms. Kimberly not to throw anything and used the term “b*tch,” followed by scuffling sounds.
Both Ms. Kimberly and [VICTIM #1] were seen by paramedics, but both parties denied being transported to the hospital.
Ms. Kimberly was arrested, and I contacted a magistrate Judge and obtained a warrant for 3 counts of Cruelty toward a child, 3rd degree, and 1 count of Battery Family Violence (H).
Warrant number- 26-EW-003020, 26-EW-003021, 26-EW-003022, 26-EW-003023.
