On September 25, 2025, at approximately 11:56 hours I, Deputy R. Carr, responded in a non-emergency to [100 BLOCK] Callie Rd Apt [REDACTED] in reference to assisting the Department of Children and Family Service with a child removal.

Upon my arrival I made contact with [REDACTED] (B/F DOB:/1981) who works with DFACS. [REDACTED] had a signed court order from Judge Natalie Ashman that was signed on September 25, 2025, at 10:51 A.M. stating that she wanted the child named [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to be removed from the custody of Laqunnia Alexander (B/F DOB:/1992).

After speaking to [REDACTED], we made contact with Laqunnia in the front yard who was holding [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in her arms. [REDACTED] started to explain the paperwork to Laqunnia and she refused all paperwork and refused to listen to anything [REDACTED] said to her. Laqunnia attempted to walk back into the residence with the child I gave her a lawful command to stop and turn the child over to DFACS. Laqunnia again attempted to walk away. At this point I again told Laqunnia to hand over the child, at this time, I had to grab [REDACTED BY AGENCY] from Laqunnia’s arms and hand her over to [REDACTED].

After handing [REDACTED BY AGENCY] over to [REDACTED] I noticed that Laqunnia was attempting to call 911. I advised Laqunnia that if she called 911 while I was on scene she could be charged for Unlawful conduct during a 911 call. I advised Laqunnia to go get the items that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] would need. Laqunnia went inside the residence and retrieved a diaper bag and then tried to get [REDACTED] to allow her to hold the child again. Laqunnia was advised that she was not able to hold the child again because we can’t take the chance of her taking the child back and running in the house. Laqunnia started making loud comments about she did not understand, and she continued to refuse to take the paperwork.

After we told [REDACTED] to leave with the [REDACTED BY AGENCY], I could hear Laqunnia being very loud in her residence and talking as if she was on the phone with 911. I radioed to 911 Dispatch and asked them if they were receiving a 911 call from Laqunnia. 911 advised that they were getting a 911 call from her. I along with Deputy T. Grier walked up to the front door of the residence and advised Laqunnia to step outside.

After telling Laqunnia to step outside she walked off further into the house, We followed her into the living room through the open screen door on the residence. After following Laqunnia into the residence I went to place her under arrest for unlawful conduct of a 911 call and she started to try and pull away while being given verbal commands by both Deputies.

We were able to get Laqunnia placed under arrest by placing her hands behind her back placing her in handcuffs checking them for fit and double locking them. We escorted Laqunnia out to my patrol car and placed her in the rear seat and placed the seatbelt on her. I transported Laqunnia to the Spalding County Jail and turned over to the jail staff. I checked the rear seat of my patrol car before and after transporting.

I obtained warrants on Laqunnia Alexander for:

Unlawful Conduct during a 911 call-warrant 25-EW-005455
Obstruction- warrant #25-EW-005456
Obstruction- warrant #25-EW-005457
