On 07/25/2026 at approximately 1219 hours I, Deputy C. Jones (222) responded in non emergency mode to [2000 BLOCK] Emily Jane Dr located within Spalding County in reference to threats made.
When I arrived I spoke with [VICTIM #1] (W/M ) and [VICTIM #2] (A/F ) who stated Smith, Latricia (B/F) was yelling obscenities at them and disturbing the peace.
[VICTIM #1] had a video of the incident and I was able to hear some of the statements being yelled by Smith. [VICTIM #1] stated he was on his back porch reading when Smith came outside of her house and stated something to the effect of the racist white man is out here, I need protection and she went back inside of her home and put on a gun holster. She was also yelling at [VICTIM #1] about [VICTIM #2]’s genitals yelling the term “pus*y” in reference to her genitals and describing it as well in a derogatory manner.
It was also stated to me by [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] that she was threatening to kill cops and over people in the neighborhood to which they both filled out written statements regarding the matter. Some of the statements written include Smith saying that “since April has been in her back yard yelling racial slurs, talking about shooting anyone that comes onto her property, white people are demonic and should be eliminated”. This was quoted directly from the written statement of [VICTIM #2].
This is from [VICTIM #1]’s statement, “I was on my pack patio reading when the neighbor at [2000 BLOCK] Emily Jane Dr., Latricia Smith, came out of her back door with her dogs. Smith looks over at me and says out loud, “watch out, that white mother fu*ker is out””. Other quotes from [VICTIM #1]’s written statement include Smith stating “F*ck all the white people” and “F*ck all the police, I want all the smoke”. “F*ck all the police, kill them all”. And “I bet she has a tight pu*sy” in reference to [VICTIM #2].
I made contact with Smith at her house at [2000 BLOCK] Emily Jane Dr and placed her under arrest for disorderly conduct and terroristic threats. She was handcuffed behind her back which were double locked and checked for proper fit. She was transported to the Spalding County Detention Center in the back seat of my marked unit (2207) without incident. The back seat was checked prior to and after transport.
An arrest warrant (26-EW-004315) was signed on 07/26/2026 by Judge MacDowell for disorderly conduct (OCGA 16-11-39) and terroristic threats (OCGA 16-11-37).
