On 11/24/25 at approximately 1957 Hrs, I responded in a non-emergency mode to 800 Everee Inn Rd (Southside Convenience Store), which is located within the City of Griffin Spalding County Georgia, to a report of dispute in progress.
I arrived on scene and made contact with a store employee [WITNESS #1] who advised that a customer came into the store with alcohol beverage. [WITNESS #1] advised they do not allow alcohol in the store and he was asked to leave. [WITNESS #1] stated that the male was a black male wearing a red/black checkered jacket and jeans. [WITNESS #1] advised that he tried to go into the kitchen and was yelling and cussing calling her a “b*tch”.
While leaving the store I made contact the male who had a strong smell of an alcohol beverage coming from his person and slurred speech. He asked me who called and started yelling that “b*tch called” pointing at the store clerk. I asked him what his name was and he yelled at me saying “fu*k you”. I told him he needed to leave the store and which he told me “fu*k you” again.
At that time, I told him to he was under arrest for disorderly conduct public drunk. I was unable to figure out the male’s name on scene due to him being uncooperative.
He was searched, placed in handcuffs behind his back, which were checked for proper fit, and double locked. He was then placed in the rear of unit 1208 and the backseat was checked before and after transport. He was then transported to the Spalding County Jail and turned over to jail staff.
Jail staff advised they would inform me who the male is once they do finger print the subject at the jail. The male was identified at the jail as Richards, Morion. Richards was issued a city citation for disorderly conduct.
[End of Narrative]
