On 04/13/2026 at approximately 1630 hours, I, Deputy Hudson responded emergency mode to a fight in progress at [1300 BLOCK] Zebulon Rd.

Upon arrival, I made contact with Mrs. Rachel Hunt (WF DOB /1969) who stated that her husband, Mr. [VICTIM #1] (WM DOB /1969) was cheating on her with the Asian ladies at the massage parlor. Mrs. Rachel stated that she witnessed him place a black cell phone in his pants. Mrs. Rachel stated that when she attempted to get the cell phone, Mr. [VICTIM #1] attacked her.

When I spoke with Mr. [VICTIM #1], he stated that when Mrs. Rachel believed he was cheating on her. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mrs. Rachel attempted to pull his shirt off and scratched his left side. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mrs. Rachel then took a small screw driver and stabbed him on the back of his left shoulder.

When I spoke with the witness, Ms. [WITNESS #1] (WF DOB /1992) stated that Mrs. Rachel attacked Mr. [VICTIM #1] because she believed he was cheating on her. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that she witnessed Mrs. Rachel hit Mr. [VICTIM #1] and tried to pull his shirt off.

I observed three scratch marks on Mr. [VICTIM #1]’s left side and had multiple stab marks on his back left shoulder. I then properly placed Mrs. Rachel in handcuffs, double locked and checked for proper fit. Mrs. Rachel was secured in the right rear seat of my patrol vehicle and transported to the Spalding County Jail and placed into the custody of the jail staff. Mrs. Rachel was charged with the following charges:

Aggravated Assault (warrant number 26-EW-002747)
Aggravated Battery (warrant number 26-EW-002748)
Battery (warrant number 26-EW-002749)

My body worn camera was activated during this encounter. The rear seat of my patrol vehicle was checked for contraband before and after transport. The screw driver was placed into evidence. A criminal history was completed for Mr. [VICTIM #1] and Mrs. Rachel. I did not see any domestic history in RMS.

I returned to duty.

FIRST APPEARANCE HEARING AND BOND SET — RACHEL AMANDA HUNT

What this means: Rachel Amanda Hunt appeared before Judge Sam Parks of the Spalding County Magistrate Court for her first appearance hearing, which is the initial court proceeding after an arrest where a judge reviews the charges and decides on bond. Hunt is accused of Aggravated Assault with a Weapon, Aggravated Battery Disfigure, and Battery Family Violence under Magistrate Case No. 26FAH-0760, Warrant Nos. 26-EW-002747, 26-EW-002748, and 26-EW-002749. The judge set bond at $25,000 with special conditions for family violence. Those conditions included: no contact of any kind with the victim; no telephone or initiated contact with the victim at their residence, workplace, place of child-care, or any other location for purposes of harassment or intimidation. Hunt was also permitted to return to the victim’s residence one time only, accompanied by a law enforcement officer, to retrieve clothing and personal belongings.
