On April 20, 2026 I Investigator Stout began an investigation into the residence of [600 BLOCK] Hallyburton Street Griffin Georgia 30223 in reference to receiving information from a confidential informant that a Santiago Sanchez (H/M DOB [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). I was advised that Sanchez was selling large quantities of marijuana as well as cocaine and had several illegal firearms inside the residence. Before my approach to the residence, I saw a black Dodge charger leave the area of [600 BLOCK] Hallyburton Street.
A traffic Stop was conducted on the vehicle leaving the area and in conclusion of the traffic stop approximately 29 gross grams of weed as well as a firearm were found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana as well as possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. After the traffic stop, I observe two vehicles illegally parked in front of [600 BLOCK] Hallyburton Street Griffin Georgia. I have previously contacted Sanchez and spoken to him via traffic stops. I am familiar with him. Sanchez was sitting in the driver’s seat with the taillights on.
I had knowledge that Sanchez did not have actual license, and it was illegal for him to operate a motor vehicle. I then passed the residence and had back up come with me to the residence to contact anyone at the residence. Upon my approach to the residence, I saw a young juvenile female in the front porch. Right after that I saw the front door slam as soon as the individuals inside the residence saw myself.
I then spoke with the juveniles and asked her to get her parents, and Sanchez came to the front door. I advised him of the illegally parked vehicle situation. While I was speaking with Sanchez Investigator was looking into the vehicles to obtain knowledge of any illegal items in plain view. What Investigator Hardernan discovered is that the vehicle smelt like green marijuana as if there was marijuana inside the vehicle.
I asked Sanchez for consent, and he stated that this was his sister’s vehicle and she was at the gym and we needed to call her. I then asked for consent to search the Charger in front of the Blue vehicle and he stated that it wasn’t his car we needed to ask his siter. While attempting to contact anyone else in the house and immediately smelt a strong odor of marijuana corning from the inside of the residence. Sanchez then became irate with his language about the entire situation after explaining that we are going to be obtaining a search warrant. I then made contact with His sister Elizabeth, Sanchez. She advised that we could search the charger only and we could not search the residence.
While conducting a safety sweep of the residence before the search warrant was obtained, we discovered a male inside the residence walking around slowly in attempt to not be heard. We made contact with him and began the safety sweep in the safety sweep a marijuana grinder was seen in plain view in the kitchen area. Also, there was a rifle style firearm in plain view in the bedroom. Sanchez currently has a pending felony case to where his conditions are to not be in possession of any firearms, illegal narcotics, alcohol, or any criminal activity.
I began a criminal arrest check on Sanchez, and he has had several arrests for narcotics distribution, illegal firearm possession as well as cocaine distribution. I also began a gang investigation into Sanchez and as an experience gang investigator I know that Sanchez is an associate and or gang member of the Neighborhood Rollin 20 Zoo Krew. His social media account stated “WESTSIDEBABY”. Which I know is common language and lingo the for Rollin 20’s Zoo Krew. A very in depth investigation will take place on membership into SANCHEZ. A supplemental will be complete in reference to the findings inside the residence.
