On November 29, 2025 at approximately 0236 hours, I responded in a non emergency mode to 1580 Williamson Rd (Kevins Korner), which is located within the City of Griffin Spalding County Georgia, to a report of an intoxicated subject trying to fight in the parking lot.
Upon my arrival I observed a white male sitting on the ground, who attempted to stand up but appeared to be struggling to do so. The white male identified as Shane Blake eventually stood up, staggered toward me, was yelling, cussing and acting very aggressive. As Blake walked up to me, It was immediately apparent that he was highly intoxicated. I asked Blake to sit on the push bumper of my patrol car at which point he began yelling even more. I commanded Blake to sit on my push bumper and he began walking toward it as if he was going to comply.
I began walking over toward several subjects in the parking lot to begin gathering what happened. As I was doing so, Blake began screaming, cussing and yelling in an aggressive manner toward them. Therefor, I immediately placed Blake in handcuffs behind his back and advised him he was being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct-Appearing Intoxicated. Blake was then placed in the rear seat of patrol unit 1212 while I finished the original investigation.
I made contact with an employee, identified as [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated that Blake was severely intoxicated and tried to get back into the bar after it was closed. [WITNESS #1] stated Blake tried to swing on him but was so intoxicated that he missed and that [WITNESS #1] and other employees just tried to keep Blake from getting back into the business.
After gathering all this, I returned to my patrol vehicle and explained to Blake why he was being arrested. Blake continued to yell and cuss during this. I transported Blake to the Spalding County Jail where he was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct-Appearing Intoxicated 58-2 and was released into the custody of jail staff for detention.
[End of Narrative]
