On 01/22/2025 at approximately 1721 hours, I MPO Hurst was dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Beck St Apt [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic in progress. I responded in non emergency mode. Upon my arrival I made contact with Jeramey Williams ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]87) who stated the following.

Jeramey stated that on 01/21/2025 he stayed the night with Tamya Williams ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]01) at [1000 BLOCK] Beck St Apt [REDACTED]. Jeramey stated that Tamya is his ex and his babies mother. Jeramey stated that Tamya let him stay because of the snow and ice storm and he had no where to stay. Jeramey stated that today (01/22/2025) He was on the phone with his sister and told her that he was about to leave. Jeramey stated that Tamya heard him and got mad. Jeramey stated that Tamya told him “get your sh*t then”. Jeramey stated that he began gathering his belongings and putting them in his car. Jeramey stated that Tamya then began through stuff at him but he was just dodging it all. Jeramey stated that he then saw Tamya’s mother and sister running up the street from their house coming over to them. Jeramey stated that he backed up from his car when he saw them. Jeramey stated that Tamya then started attacking his car. Jeramey stated that she busted out his tail lights, head lights and put dents in his car. I then asked Jeramey if he wanted to press charges against Tamya. Jeramey stated that he did.

At this point myself, Ptl. Kimbell and Jeramey walked over to his car so he could get his ID out of the car. While he was looking for it, Ptl. Kimbell and I walked up stairs to Tamya’s apartment and made contact with Tamya. Tamya stated the following. I asked Tamya what was going on. Tamya stated that last night (01/21/2025) they got into an argument. Tamya stated that she told Jeramey to come inside so he could stay warm. Tamya stated that he slept on the floor last night and when he woke up, he had an attitude. Tamya stated that Jeramey said he was gonna leave. Tamya stated that she told him “if youre gonna leave then leave and take all your stuff out of my house”. Tamya stated that Jeramey got mad and choked her so she hit him back. I asked Tamya if she did all that damage to Jeramey’s car. After a brief pause, Tamya stated “yes, because he took my toaster and stuff out of her house and broke it.”

I then stated to Tamya “so he choked you?” Tamya stated yes he did but she did not want anyone to go to jail. I advised Tamya that Jeramey was wanting to press charges against her for the damage to his car. Tamya then stated “Ok he just pulled a gun out on me though”. Tamya then got angry and started shouting out the open window at Jeramey. I then again asked Tamya to confirm that he choked her and pulled a gun out on her. Tamya stated yes so I again asked if she would make a written statement about what happened. Tamya dodged the question and just stated that she doesn’t want anyone to go to jail. I asked Tamya if she had any marks on her neck. I pulled out my flashlight and checked Tamya’s neck for any marks. I did not see any marks consistent with choking on Tamya’s neck. Tamya stated that she didn’t have any bruises because she pushed him off of her. Tamya then got mad and began yelling out the window at Jeramey again. Ptl. Johnson then closed the window so Tamya could not yell out of it anymore. Tamya then stated that she does want to press charges on Jeramey. I gathered Tamya’s information. I then asked Tamya what kind of gun was it. Tamya stated that she thinks it was a black Glock 40 or a 9. Tamya also stated that she thinks he put it in his car or gave it to someone else. I then asked Tamya what she meant when she says he pulled a gun on her. Tamya stated that he pulled it out and held it by his side and stated “whatcha gonna do then”. Tamya stated that she then shut the door to her room.

I then went and got a lack of prosecution form from Ptl. Johnson. While I was getting that Ptl. Johnson was running both parties information and discovered that Jeramey was a convicted felon. I returned up stairs to Tamya and stated that if she did not want to press charges, based on what she was telling me, she would need to sign a lack of prosecution form. Tamya did not want to sign the LOP and stated that she does want to press charges. I then again asked Tamya if she would fill out a written statement. Tamya stated that she would. I then went and grabbed a statement form from Ptl. Johnson. During this Ptl. Johnson got Jeramey to fill out a written statement form as well. I returned to Tamya and provided her with a statement form so she could write what happened. After Tamya finished writing her statement, I read it and saw that she put in there that Jeramey had pulled a gun out on her twice and choked her. Tamya wrote that after that incident occurred he ran across the street to the park and called the police.

I then advised Tamya that she was being placed under arrest for criminal trespass damage to property. I placed Tamya into handcuffs, behind her back, checked for proper fit and double locked. I then escorted Tamya down the stairs and to my patrol car. I placed Tamya in the back seat of my patrol car which was searched prior too and after transport. I then returned to Jeramey and asked him if at any point during the dispute if she got physical with her. Jeramey stated that he never touched her and it was her that was throwing stuff at him. I then advised Jeramey that Tamya wrote a statement about what happened and wanted to press charges on him. I then placed Jeramey into handcuffs, hands behind his back, checked for proper fit and double locked. Ptl. Johnson asked Jeramey if he had a gun in his car. Jeramey stated that he does not. Jeramey was searched incident to arrest and no contraband or a gun was found on Jeramey. Myself and Ptl. Johnson then searched Jeramey’s car based on the motor vehicle exception to attempt to find the gun Tamya was saying he had. Nothing was located during the search.

Before transport, I had Ptl. C Wilson take pictures of Tamya’s Neck. I then transported Tamya to the Spalding County Jail and turned her over to jail staff on the charge of OCGA 16-7-21 Felony Criminal Trespass Damage to property FV. (A google search of 2 OEM tail lights and 1 OEM head light for the year make and model of Jeramey’s vehicle confirmed the value of just those at approximately $722 dollars. There was also damage to the body of the vehicle). Ptl. Johnson transported Jeramey to the Spalding County Jail and turned him over to jail staff on the charge of Aggravated Assault FV. I will obtain warrants for the arrest of both Tamya and Jeramey.
