On April 20, 2026, I Dep King responded to [600 BLOCK] Northside Dr in reference to shots fired. I responded in emergency mode.

Before my arrival I was advised by dispatch that a group of people were shooting at each other near the entrance.

Upon my arrival I came into contact with a witness, whom is also an employee for the apartment complex, Mr [WITNESS #1]. Upon making contact with him he advised that he witnessed two groups of three unidentified males shooting at each other. He stated that right before the shooting began he heard the two parties arguing. He was able to observe that subjects begin shooting from the gate next to the “[REDACTED]” building, towards the other group which was in between the “[REDACTED]” building and “[REDACTED]” building.

He advised that he did observe one of the subjects to have a “draco”.

Once the shooting stopped he stated that he witnessed the group that was in between the “[REDACTED]” and “[REDACTED]” building run north through the complex. All he could advise at this time was that there was two black males and a white male in this group.

I then went to the area between building “[REDACTED]” and “[REDACTED]”. While I was there I observed multiple shell casings. There was a group of approximately 10-15 handgun shell casings. These were located near building “[REDACTED]” on the east side of the building. I also observed rifle shell casings. These were approximately 20-30 feet away from the handgun shell casings. There were also approximately 10-15 of these. I also observed two bullet holes in building “[REDACTED]” and one in Building “[REDACTED]”

After observing the crime scene I then grabbed my crime scene tape and taped off the area.

Lt Bruce notified CID and they responded to the scene where they then took it over.
