On 02/14/2024 at approximately 1240 hrs while on patrol at Griffin High School 1617 W Poplar Street, Griffin GA 30223, I responded to Asst. Principal [WITNESS #1] office in reference to a disorderly student.
Upon my arrival Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Westley, Foglia (a student at Griffin High School) was in the 100 hallway stating to other students in a loud manner ” I have a bomb” and also threatened to blow up the school. While the principal Ms. [VICTIM #1] explained to him the seriousness of those threats Westley became angry and was behaving in a disorderly manner. Ms. [VICTIM #1] started conducting a search of his person, Westley was angry and when asked to remove his shoes, he kicked toward Ms. [VICTIM #1] causing his sneaker to come off his foot and strike her around the chest/shoulder area. I took a few steps toward Westley to stop him from any further actions, Westley kicked his other foot toward me causing his sneaker to come off and strike me in my right shoulder. I stated you are going to be arrested, Westley placed both hands in front of him and he was arrested.
Westley was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and disruption of school, Westley was transported to the Spalding County Jail, No injuries reported, body cam active.
