On September 25, 2024 at 2043 hours. I, Deputy Head was dispatched in non-emergency mode to [1200 BLOCK] N.9th St. Ext. In reference to a domestic already occurred.
Upon my arrival with Deputy Carr, I made contact with a anonymous female who advised she heard a verbal dispute and a white male exit the residence at [1200 BLOCK] N. 9th St. Ext. She advised he was bleeding from the top of his head.
Upon my arrival at the residence I made contact with [VICTIM #1] (w/m, /51). I observed bleeding from the top of his head. He advised a black female subject who lives at the location, struck him on the top of his head possibly with keys in his room (front of residence). He advised he only knows her name as skinny, and doesn’t know her real name. He advised it is a skinny black female that hit him.
Mr. [VICTIM #1] also advised skinny’s mother he knows her only by the name of “mother”, was also with her at the residence. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised black female subjects left the area on foot. EMS came out and checked Mr. [VICTIM #1] and he refused to go to the hospital. I advised Mr. [VICTIM #1] to call us back out if both subjects returned to the residence. Pictures was taken of Mr. [VICTIM #1]’s injury, with my county issued phone. A report number was pulled.
At 2158 hours I got dispatched to [1200 BLOCK] N. 9th St. Ext. In non-emergency mode. In reference to a subject who had a conditional bond to stay away from the caller. Upon my arrival I made contact with Yasmine Gunn (b/f, /04). She advised she lives at [1100 BLOCK] N. 9th St. Ext. She advised her mother [WITNESS #1] (b/f, /75) has a conditional bond to stay away from her. Dispatch checked and advised no valid conditional bond was in the system. I advised her no conditional bond was in the system. She advised she was criminal trespassed from [1200 BLOCK] N 9th St. Ext.
I made contact at [1200 BLOCK] N. 9th St. Ext with Mr. [VICTIM #1]. I asked Mr. [VICTIM #1] if he can identify the subject who hit him on the head. He advised yes, I walked with him across the street to [1200 BLOCK] and he advised it was Ms. Gunn who hit him on the head. I advised Ms. Gunn to place her hands behind her back check cuffs for proper fit and double locked them. I placed Ms. Gunn in my county issued patrol vehicle (2304). Ms. Gunn wanted her neighbor [REDACTED] (w/ f, /66) to have her car keys. Ms. Gunn also stated she never hit Mr. [VICTIM #1]. Ms. Gunn’s car keys was given to Ms. [REDACTED]. Mr. [VICTIM #1] walked back across the street back to his residence.
I walked back over to the residence at [1200 BLOCK]. I asked Mr. [VICTIM #1] if Ms. Gunn’s mother [WITNESS #1] was home he advised she walked to the back of the residence. Myself and Deputy Mann checked the backyard with no contact. I asked again inside the residence if Ms. [WITNESS #1] was inside. Ms. [WITNESS #1] came out from behind a corner and came outside. Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised she wanted to be honest and advised her daughter Yasmine had hit Mr. [VICTIM #1] on the head with a unknown object. Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised her daughter was just angry because her boyfriend has not talked to her in days and she took her anger out on Mr. [VICTIM #1]. I asked dispatch if Ms. [WITNESS #1] had a criminal trespass on the [1200 BLOCK] property and they advised no trespass was issued. Ms. [WITNESS #1] and Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised Ms. [WITNESS #1] lives at the location.
Ms. Gunn was arrested and was taken to Spalding County Jail. Warrants will be taken for Battery (FVA) and Elder Abuse.
