On August 16th, 2026 at approximately 1233 hours, Sergeant J. Henderson responded to [400 BLOCK] Goons Bay Circle Reidsville, GA in reference to a Christy Walton subject walking around the caller’s yard wearing a shirt but no pants or underwear.
Upon arrival, Sgt. Henderson made contact with Christy Walton as she was walking on the [700 BLOCK] Goons Bay Circle. Walton was walking down the road wearing a gray in color hoodie, eating chips and carrying a bottle of soda. Sgt. Henderson observed that Walton was walking down the public road with her buttocks and genitalia exposed.
Sgt. Henderson spoke to Ms. Walton, and observed her speech was erratic and she was unsure of her location. Walton also advised Sgt. Henderson that she is legally blind. Walton also advised Sgt. Henderson her name was Christy Hicks, but gave her correct birthday.
Sgt. Henderson observed blood leaking down Walton’s right leg, further observing several scabs on her legs. Sgt. Henderson asked if Walton would like to be seen by Emergency Medical Services, to which Walton advised she would. Walton later acted confused as to what EMS stood for, and further advised the blood may be due to her being on her menstrual cycle. EMS was requested, and arrived on scene to evaluate Ms. Walton. Upon evaluating Walton, EMS Personnel advised she would be transported to the Optim Medical Center in Reidsville for further. Sgt. Henderson followed EMS up to Optim with Cpl. Gatto, and stood by as she was turned over to hospital staff.
At 1603 hours, Sgt. Henderson returned to the Optim Medical Center following the release of Ms. Walton and took her into custody for Public Indecency. Walton was cuffed behind her back, the cuffs were checked for fit, then double locked. After securing Ms. Walton in the back seat of his patrol truck, Sgt. Henderson transported her to the Tattnall County Jail without incident.
Upon arrival at the jail, Sgt. Henderson turned Walton over to jail staff for booking and further processing. A warrant will be submitted for Public Indecency on Christy Walton.
