On April 11th, 2026 at approximately 15:23 hours, Sergeant J. Henderson, Corporal M. Gatto, and Deputy C. Sasser responded to [100 BLOCK] Pine Mountain Drive, Reidsville, GA in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Sgt. Henderson and Dep. Sasser made contact with the male party involved, Daniel Durrence, on River Ridge Road while in route to the residence. Dep. Sasser spoke with Mr. Durrence, Sgt. Henderson continued to the residence.

Upon arrival, Sgt. Henderson made contact with the victim, Juvenile [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #1] grandmother, [VICTIM #2], and her friend, Juvenile [WITNESS #1]. Juvenile [VICTIM #1] reported she was in a confrontation with her boyfriend, Daniel Durrence, over money he claimed she owed him. Prior to the call, Sgt. Henderson spoke to both parties by telephone at Durrence’s request. Durrence advised Sgt. Henderson that Juvenile [VICTIM #1] owed him approximately $1000.00 and refused to give him the money back with his cell phone after a verbal dispute the day prior. Durrence said Juvenile [VICTIM #1] kicked him out of her car and made him walk back to Reidsville.

Upon contacting Juvenile [VICTIM #1], she reported having Durrence walk home following an argument as well, but further advised the cell phone involved was a gift and the money was money that Durrence gave Juvenile [VICTIM #1] to deposit into her CashApp account for safe keeping. Juvenile [VICTIM #1] advised Durrence also damaged her vehicle by throwing a vape against the passenger side door, resulting in a dent. Juvenile [VICTIM #1] advised she would return Durrence’s money after he had her car repaired. Neither party wanted a report done to document the incident or charges pursued. Sgt. Henderson informed both parties of the civil dispute process, and both parties advised they would try to work out the issue without law enforcement involvement.

Juvenile [WITNESS #1] reported she was sun tanning in the yard with Juvenile [VICTIM #1] before Durrence’s arrival. Juvenile [WITNESS #1] advised Sgt. Henderson she went inside with [VICTIM #1], heard Ms. [VICTIM #2] come inside behind them, then went to [WITNESS #1]’s room. Juvenile [WITNESS #1] advised they heard rustling inside the house, and Durrence abruptly entered her room after entering [VICTIM #1]’ room. [WITNESS #1] advised Durrence ripped the blanket [VICTIM #1] was wearing off of her, and began shouting for her to give him his money.

[WITNESS #1] told Sgt. Henderson she got up with [VICTIM #1] and exited the room, further advising Durrence began frantically running around the house looking for something. [VICTIM #1] corroborated this statement. [WITNESS #1] informed Sgt. Henderson that Durrence began yelling at Ms. [VICTIM #2], then proceeded to sit on the couch and refuse to leave. [VICTIM #1] advised Sgt. Henderson she entered into the living room with [WITNESS #1] and [VICTIM #2], and was subsequently charged by Durrence in an aggressive manner with his fists bawled while he shouted at them. [VICTIM #2] advised she tried to get in between her granddaughter and Durrence to protect them. [VICTIM #1] advised this action placed her in fear of receiving a violent injury as well.

[WITNESS #1] displayed a video to Sgt. Henderson (See Attached) of the incident. [WITNESS #1] advised Durrence exited the house and began running around the porch and in the yard in a rage, maintaining the same aggressive stance. [VICTIM #1] advised they locked the door, so Durrence began striking the door until it maintained damage to the frame spanning most of the door frame where the hinged are attached.

Sgt. Henderson observed some of this captured on video taken by [WITNESS #1]. Next, [VICTIM #1] advised Sgt. Henderson that Durrence went into her car and retrieved money that belonged to him from the glove box while rifling through the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] told Sgt. Henderson that Durrence slammed the door, went to leave the yard, then charged at her again in an aggressive manner, causing her to flee back into the residence. [VICTIM #1] advised Sgt. Henderson that Durrence walked away, telling her she better get his money, and left his black in color bicycle in the yard.

Durrence was arrested by Dep. Sasser and Cpl. Gatto at Sgt. Henderson’s direction, and transported to the Tattnall County Jail. Ms. [VICTIM #2] and Juvenile [VICTIM #1] were advised a report would be made to document the incident, informed on how to obtain a copy of the report, and informed on how to obtain a Temporary Protective Order. Sgt. Henderson also advised a Criminal Trespass Notice would be served on Durrence, as well as extra patrols conducted at the residence due to Ms. [VICTIM #2] expressing fear of possible arson attempts on the residence.
