On Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at approximately 1847 hours SERGEANT (SGT.) MICHAEL JARRELL of the TATTNALL COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE met with COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1] and WITNESS [WITNESS #1] at [1000 BLOCK] OAK BLUFF PLANTATION, REIDSVILLE, GA. 30453 in TATTNALL COUNTY in reference to AGGRAVATED STALKING.
WITNESS [WITNESS #1] stated that her brother OFFENDER JOSEPH LEE HOLLAND got released from VALDOSTA STATE PRISON this date and got on a bus ending up in Atlanta, Ga.. WITNESS [WITNESS #1] said that OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND called COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1]’ phone using a subject by the name of [REDACTED]’ phone [REDACTED], leaving a voice mail asking COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1] to come pick him up.
WITNESS [WITNESS #1] said OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND called COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1]’ phone approximately 3 times starting around 0930 hours this date.
WITNESS [WITNESS #1] stated she called OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND back at the number [REDACTED] and told him that he was banished from TATTNALL COUNTY by the courts, that he was not allowed to be at her and COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1]’ residence and that she could not come take him anywhere due to her car being in the shop.
WITNESS [WITNESS #1] said that she had OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND on speaker phone while talking to him and he spoke to COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1] telling them that he was coming to TATTNALL COUNTY and that if he couldn’t stay at their residence, he would stay in the vacant residence beside their residence or stay in the woods. WITNESS [WITNESS #1] said the last time she talked to OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND on the phone was at approximately 1026 hours this date.
WITNESS [WITNESS #1] said that at approximately 1751 hours this date COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1] received some calls from [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] and that a subject by the name of [REDACTED] from EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL hospital in STATESBORO, GA. left a voice mail in reference to OFFENDER JOSPEH HOLLAND being at the hospital and needing a ride.
COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1] has a TEMPORARY PROTECTION ORDER on OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND stating that he is not to have any contact with her. OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND violated the TPO by contacting COMPLAINANT [VICTIM #1] via phone and leaving a voice mail, voice mail was sent to SGT. JARRELLS’ work cell phone and is attached to the linked files tab of this report.
SGT. JARRELL was advised by TATTNALL 911 to contact SGT. JENNIFER STROSNIDER badge 256 of the STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT in reference to OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND. SGT. JARRELL called SGT. STROSNIDER and she advised that she was out with OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND. SGT. JARRELL asked SGT. STROSNIDER to detain OFFENDER HOLLAND for him, that he was in the process of obtaining an arrest warrant for AGGRAVATED STALKING on OFFENDER HOLLAND. SGT. STROSNIDER advised SGT. JARRELL that OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND would be transported to the BULLOCH COUNTY JAIL to await pick up by a TATTNALL COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFF.
SGT. JARRELL contacted PROBATION OFFICER BRITTANY DASHER and notified her that OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND was released from VALDOSTA STATE PRISON this date and violated a TPO and that SGT. JARRELL was securing a warrant for his arrest for AGGRAVATED STALKING. SGT. JARRELL advised PROBATION OFFICER DASHER that SGT. STROSNIDER badge 256 of the STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT placed OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND under arrest and transported him to the BULLOCH COUNTY JAIL to hold for pick up.
SGT. JARRELL secured a warrant for the offense of AGGRAVATED STALKING on OFFENDER JOSEPH HOLLAND. OFFENDER JOSPEH HOLLAND was picked up and transported to the TATTNALL COUNTY JAIL.
