On Saturday, May 31, 2025, at approximately 1932 hours, Deputy Brown and Lieutenant Antes were dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Powell Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. While en route to the address, Deputy Brown was informed by Thomas County Dispatch that an individual involved in the dispute had left the scene in a blue Toyota SUV, traveling in an unknown direction. Deputy Brown made contact with the complainant, [VICTIM #1].
[VICTIM #1] advised that her sister, Crystal Walker, came to her residence and became very irate after [VICTIM #1] denied her request to accompany her somewhere. [VICTIM #1] then stated that every time she goes somewhere with Crystal, Crystal never brings her back home. [VICTIM #1] further stated that Crystal kicked over their trash can, threw a chair at her residence, and attempted to snatch an air conditioning unit out of one of the windows. [VICTIM #1] then informed Deputy Brown that she does not want Crystal returning to her residence due to the disturbances she causes during each visit.
At Deputy Brown’s request, [VICTIM #1] contacted the landowner of the property to determine whether Crystal could be trespassed. The landowner, identified as [REDACTED], advised that he also wanted Crystal trespassed due to her repeated involvement in disturbances. Deputy Brown also spoke with two witnesses, [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2], who both stated they observed Crystal beating on the residence, throwing objects, and attempting to remove the air conditioning unit from one of the windows.
Shortly thereafter, Brown observed Crystal traveling at a high rate of speed on powell towards Libby Lane in a blue Toyota Matrix. Deputy Brown activated his emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop at [400 BLOCK] Libby Lane. Using a driver-side approach, Deputy Brown made contact with Crystal, who admitted she had been at her sister’s residence but claimed she had not done anything wrong. Deputy Brown informed Crystal that she was not to return to her sister’s residence. Crystal agreed and stated she would comply.
Shortly after the traffic stop, Deputy Brown was notified by Thomas County Dispatch that Crystal had returned to the complainant’s residence and then left again. Deputies again attempted to locate her. The complainant, [VICTIM #1], advised that Crystal was traveling toward the Boston, Georgia area. A short time later, Crystal’s vehicle was located unoccupied at the Country Corner Store off Powell Drive. Deputy Brown then observed Crystal walking near [1000 BLOCK] Powell Drive.
When approached by Brown, Crystal claimed it was okay for her to return to the residence. At that time, Deputy Brown placed Crystal under arrest and secured her in the rear of his patrol vehicle. Crystal Walker was transported to the Thomas County Jail, where she was booked and processed on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass after notice. Warrants will be obtained at a later time.
