On 10/07/2025 at approximately 2:43 a.m. Ofc. Angel Castro was dispatched to the residence of [500 BLOCK] Mosley Street Vidalia Ga,30474 in reference to an intoxicated driver.

Upon arrival Ofc. Castro and Ofc. Matthew Roberts spoke with the complainant, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and her husband, by the name of Benjamin Lanier, got into an argument and she made him leave. [VICTIM #1] stated that he then came back to the residence and began damaging property (multiple items) in the house. [VICTIM #1] stated that Benjamin was yelling and arguing at her and throwing items and food throughout as well. [VICTIM #1] stated that Benjamin was so loud that it woke her and their children, who then heard Benjamin lashing out.

Ofc. Castro and Ofc. Roberts then asked Benjamin if he wanted to speak about the situation, and he did not. Ofc. Castro then placed Benjamin in handcuffs in the rear, making sure to double-lock them. Ofc. Castro then searched Benjamin incident to arrest and then placed him in the rear of his patrol unit. Ofc. Castro then transported Benjamin to the Toombs County Detention Center, where he was then handed over to on-duty jail staff while Ofc. Roberts finished taking pictures of the damage and got the children’s information.
