On June 30th, 2025 I, Deputy Benton, responded to a remove subject call at [200 BLOCK] 1st St. in Danville, GA. Upon arrival I met with complainant, [VICTIM #1]. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated he wanted Gyrino Stanley removed from his residence because he was drunk, biligerant and threatening him with bodily harm. Mr. Stanley approached both myself and Cpl. Perry and exhibited signs of being heavily intoxicated. During our interaction with Mr. Stanley he approached a residence, [100 BLOCK] 1st St., and began to get biligerant and began demanding his Crown Royal that he said was inside the residence. The resident told him multiple times to leave and Mr. Stanley refused.
I then went and told him to leave the residence immediately and after multiple commands he finally left the property. While Mr. Stanley was walking away I told him to leave the area or he would be arrested. Mr. Stanley turned to me and began saying he was not scared of me while making violent gestures toward me. I drew my department issued taser 10 and told Mr. Stanley if he continued making violent gestures and being biligerant toward law enforcement he was going to be tased and arrested. Mr. Stanley continued and I deployed my taser causing him to fall to the ground, he continued to try and get up after lawful commands were given to roll onto his stomach so I deployed my taser a second time. Mr. Stanley was finally placed in handcuffs and taken to my patrol car. While deputies were trying to get Mr. Stanley into the patrol he refused and became combative. Mr. Stanley had to be forcefully placed in the patrol vehicle by myself and Cpl. Perry. Mr. Stanley was transported to the Twiggs County Jail.
