On August 2nd, 2025, at approximately 12:22 PM, I, Deputy Marks, responded to a disturbance at the Family Dollar on Highway 80. Upon arrival, I met with the complainant, later identified as [VICTIM #1]. Ms. [VICTIM #1] informed me that a Black female, later identified as Tamya Pauldo, wearing a white and black shirt, had entered the Family Dollar and caused a disturbance. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Ms. Pauldo was trying to get another employee, identified as [VICTIM #2], to go outside and fight her. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Ms. Pauldo had spit on her while attempting to spit on Ms. [VICTIM #2].

I spoke with Ms. [VICTIM #2], who confirmed that Ms. Pauldo had come into the store and tried to get her to go outside to fight. Ms. [VICTIM #2] explained that when Ms. Pauldo was asked to leave the store, she threw gum at her and attempted to spit on her but ended up spitting on Ms. [VICTIM #1] instead. Ms. [VICTIM #2] mentioned that Ms. Pauldo was upset with her because they were both involved with the same man.

I reviewed the video footage provided by Ms. [VICTIM #1]. In the video, Ms. Pauldo approaches the register and exchanges words with both Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. [VICTIM #2], after which she takes something out of her mouth and throws it at Ms. [VICTIM #2]. Ms. [VICTIM #2] was able to provide me with Ms. Pauldo’s information, which allowed me to obtain her address. Moments later, I located Ms. Pauldo at her residence. She was placed under arrest and informed of her charges. After reading Ms. Pauldo her Miranda rights, I attempted to speak with her, but she refused.

Ms. Pauldo was then transported by Sgt. Peavey to the Twiggs County Jail, where she was booked on misdemeanor charges and turned over to the on-duty booking officer.
