[NARRATIVE #1 on June 21, 2023]
On June 21st 2023 at approximately 0204 hours, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Burnt Mill Rd in reference to a transferred call from Hamilton County.
Dispatch advised that all they could hear on the line was a female screaming for help.
Upon my arrival on scene I observed the listed victim laying in the yard outside the residence. She stated that the listed suspect had hit her and that he was also still inside the residence refusing to come out. At this time myself and Deputy Gilreath then entered the residence to get the suspect to come out of the bedroom to speak with him.
The suspect was not cooperative at first however after approximately five minutes he stepped out of the bedroom with his hands raised. Deputy Gilreath then detained the suspect.
After the suspect was detained I then went back outside to speak with the listed victim. She stated that the pair were engaged in a verbal argument when the listed suspect lunged at her, striking her on the left side of her face with a closed fist. I was able to observe a cut on inside of her lip as well as countless other bruises on her body. She then stated that while she was on the phone with 911 the listed suspect took her phone from her and hid it in the bedroom. At this time I spoke with the listed suspect.
The suspect stated that he had engaged in a verbal argument with the listed victim however, the argument never became physical. When asked why the listed victim’s lip was bleeding he stated that he did not know. I then asked the listed suspect why he took the listed victim’s phone. The suspect then stated that he believed the victim was talking to another man.
With the consent of both the victim and the suspect Deputy Gilreath then entered the residence and went into their bedroom to retrieve the phone. Once Deputy Gilreath retrieved the victim’s phone the victim then advised that she had video of the argument between the two. While listening to the video it was apparent that the listed suspect was the primary aggressor. After getting the cellphone back to the listed victim I advised the suspect that he was now under arrest for the listed offenses.
I then searched the suspect for weapons and contraband, none were found. Prior to placing the suspect into the rear of my patrol vehicle I searched the back for weapons and contraband, nothing was found. I then placed the suspect into the rear of my patrol vehicle.
At this time the victim was given a victim bill of rights form as well as a domestic violence referral form. She was then advised of the resources available to her. I then began transport to the A/B sector line with the suspect.
Upon arrival at the A/B sector line, Deputy Haven then took custody of the suspect. After transport the rear of my patrol car was searched for weapons and contraband, none were found.

I then searched the rear of my patrol car for weapons and contraband. None were found. I then placed him in the rear of my patrol car.
