On 09/21/2025 at 2103 hours I, Cpl. Phillips was dispatched to 800 Patterson Road (Sheppard Hills) in LaFayette in reference to a Fight. upon arriving I spoke with listed Complainant [WITNESS #1] who stated she was an employee at Sheppard Hills and resident listed Offender (Glenn Mann) was intoxicated and was being unruly. [WITNESS #1] stated Glenn left earlier listed date with his son and he returned back to the facility intoxicated. [WITNESS #1] stated Glenn tried fighting with another resident down the hall from him but never became physical.

I then spoke with Glenn who was sitting on his bed and was highly aggravated. While speaking to Glenn I did smell the odor of alcohol coming from his person and when I asked Glenn if he had been consuming alcohol he replied, “Fu*k No”. I then asked Glenn if he had any altercation with a resident and he advised yes. Glenn stated the other resident cursed him and cursed his wife. Glenn stated he was just going to get a cup of milk so he could enjoy his fig cookie. Glenn while speaking with him was being uncooperative and then became aggravated with me and refusing to cooperate with my lawful commands.

Glenn was then placed in handcuffs which were checked for fit and double locked. Glenn was searched incident to arrest for contraband or weapons, and none were found. The other resident that Glenn threatened was spoke to but due to him being in cognitive I was unable to get the other parties’ statements. Glenn was requested to walk out of the facility and got upset and fell to the floor on purpose while escorting him out. Glenn was then placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle to be transported to the Walker County Jail.

[WITNESS #1] informed me that Glenn did not have any prior medical issues and was only in the facility to prevent him from being homeless. [WITNESS #1] was also informed to contact his family to inform them of his whereabouts.

Once at the jail Glenn was removed from the rear of my patrol vehicle and was turned over to the detention personnel. Glenn was placed in custody for Disorderly Conduct.
