On 11/14/2025 at 22:40 hours I, Officer McDaniel, was dispatched to [700 BLOCK] Henderson Street in reference to a physical domestic.
Once on scene I made contact with the caller [WITNESS #1], standing on the front porch of the residence stating, “you better hurry and get him.” I could hear loud yelling coming from inside the residence from a male subject and a female with children inside. I made entry into the residence and walked to the hallway when one of the children ran towards me stating “he is back there’. I saw a male subject walk out of the bedroom with blood on his clothing and told him to come here. I placed that subject into cuffs to be detained until further investigation. I walked him outside to Sergeant Simpson, who just arrived while I got a statement from the victims. The male subject was later identified as Jeremy Broadrick.
Once walking back inside the residence, I made contact with [VICTIM #1], who stated her boyfriend (Jeremy Broadrick) choked her and was grabbing her by the arm. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] stated Jeremy also grabbed her daughter [REDACTED] by the shoulder and shook her. I asked Mrs. [VICTIM #1] why blood was all over her shirt and where it came from. She stated it was from Jeremy’s hand. She stated Jeremy came into her bedroom and punched her fan and broke it. She stated after he punched the fan; he continued to punch her dresser until he busted his knuckles.
Mrs. [VICTIM #1] went into detail stating she tried to tell Jeremy to leave because he was intoxicated, and she knew when he’s intoxicated, he gets aggressive. [VICTIM #1] stated she tried to leave since he wasn’t, then he came from behind her and stated choking her. She stated she started punching him until he let her go. [VICTIM #1] stated after he let her go, Jeremy tried to fight her son.
I asked [VICTIM #1] if she had any marks from him choking her; she stated she did. [VICTIM #1] had multiple marks on her neck and arm from Jeremy. I also asked [REDACTED] if she had any marks, she stated she didn’t. [REDACTED] stated he just grabbed her by her shoulders and started shaking her.
I took pictures of the marks on Mrs. [VICTIM #1]’s neck that will be added to the report. I also took pictures of the fan Jeremy broke after punching it.
I asked Mrs. [VICTIM #1] if she would be willing to fill out a witness statement form; she agreed. The witness statement form will be attached to this report.
I asked [WITNESS #1] if she saw anything. She stated she didn’t, her granddaughter [REDACTED] called her crying and screaming, stating Jeremy put his hands on her and her mother.
After hearing the two victim’s testimonies and seeing physical evidence Jeremy was placed under arrest for O.C.G.A 16-5-70 Cruelty to Children in the first degree due to Jeremy putting his hands on [REDACTED]. He will also be charged with O.C.G.A 16-5-70 Cruelty to Children in the third degree due to Jeremy Chocking [VICTIM #1] while her daughter [REDACTED] was in the room. He will also be charged with O.C.G.A 16-5-21 Aggravated Assault due to Jeremy Chocking [VICTIM #1] from behind. All charges will be turned over to state court.
Sgt. Simpson transported Jeremy to jail while I gathered the rest of the information I needed for the report. After gathering all the information, I went to the jail to fill out the jail paperwork.
[End of Narrative]
