On December 7, 2025 at approximately 1809 hours I, Officer Smith, was dispatched to West North Main Street at North Main Street in reference to a Hit and Run.
Upon arrival I observed one vehicle on scene where I approached the vehicle to speak with the occupants. I spoke with both occupants where they both advised a white Chevrolet pickup truck struck the rear end of the vehicle. The truck then backed up into the Ledford Pharmacy parking lot and traveled north on West North Main Street. The passenger of the victim vehicle ,[VICTIM #1], stated the driver, [VICTIM #2], was pulling up at the yield sign where she stopped due to a vehicle traveling southbound. That is when the truck struck the rear of the vehicle.
I gathered video footage from the BP Gas Station at 1111 North Main Street. I observed the accident occur where the suspect vehicle was a white pickup truck possibly a Chevrolet Silverado. The truck had a bed rack on the rear and company logo on the side which I believe to be Chattanooga Fire Protection.
Memorial Medic 13 arrived on scene for the driver complaining of a neck injury and the passenger complaining of left foot pain due to his “walking boot” hitting the dashboard at impact. Both refused transport where they advised they would go POV.
I cleared the scene where I attempted to locate the suspect vehicle in the city neighborhoods where I had negative contact.
This report will be submitted to the Detective Division due to the unknown whereabouts of the suspect/vehicle.
[End of Narrative]
