[NARRATIVE #1 on October 05, 2025]

On October 5, 2025 at 21:52 hours I, Patrolman Ferguson, was dispatched to Room [REDACTED] at the Kings Inn Hotel located at 2209 North Main Street for a possible domestic disturbance.

I arrived on scene and met with the listed complainant/witness, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] advised the listed offender, Robert Worthy had fled prior to our arrival wearing shorts, no shirt, tattoos all over, and carrying a bottle of liquor. I advised all other responding units of the description. Patrolman Young located Robert near the railroad tracks on West Highway 136.

Patrolman Young observed him cross the roadway where he was stumbling, and consuming the alcohol he was carrying. Patrolman Young activated his blue lights and issued commands to Robert to stop. Robert ignored the commands and continued walking away as he increased his pace. Robert led Patrolman Young on a brief foot pursuit where Patrolman Young caught up to him and placed him under arrest without further incident. (See Patrolman Young supplemental report). Robert was placed in handcuffs behind his back which were checked for proper fit and double locked. Patrolman Young searched Robert incident to arrest and no weapons or contraband was located.

I then went back and met with [WITNESS #1]. I had [WITNESS #1] complete a witness statement of what she observed. [WITNESS #1] stated that Robert was causing a disturbance earlier this date where she went and advised him to be quiet. Robert then left and came back where he began running at the door of his room, kicking the door, and screaming. This was causing a disturbance for the tenants at the hotel. [WITNESS #1] heard this occurring from her office and stated that Robert was highly intoxicated, and was actively consuming alcohol during the incident.

[WITNESS #1] stated that she had enough and called law enforcement. [WITNESS #1] advised that Robert did not cause any damage to the door although his foot print was left on the door from where he was kicking. I observed a scuff mark on the door which was photographed which would be consistent with someone kicking the door.

I spoke with Robert’s girlfriend, [WITNESS #2]. [WITNESS #2] stated that Robert started drinking to the point where she was unable to understand what he was saying. [WITNESS #2] then stated that [WITNESS #1] came to their room and told Robert to be quiet. After [WITNESS #1] left the room Robert also left, but returned where he started being loud and boisterous disturbing other tenants as well as office staff.

Robert was transported to the Walker County Jail by Patrolman Young. Upon arrival at the jail, Robert was turned over to and accepted by staff. All required paperwork was then completed. A copy of [WITNESS #1]’s and [WITNESS #2]’s statements will be attached to this report. Photographs of the door will also be attached.

This case is cleared by arrest.

[NARRATIVE #2 on October 05, 2025]

On October 5th, 2025, at approximately 2157 hours, I, Officer Young, responded to assist Officer Ferguson and Sergeant Hunt with a possible domestic situation at the King’s Inn Motel. While en route, dispatch advised that the caller reported the offender had left the scene on foot. The caller described the offender as a white male covered in tattoos, wearing no shirt, and carrying a large bottle of liquor.

Upon arrival in the area, I began to check adjacent streets in the direction the subject was last seen traveling. While patrolling near Lake Howard Road, I observed a subject matching the given description crossing the roadway of West 136 and proceeding across the nearby railroad tracks. The subjects was stumbling, and consuming liquid out of glass bottle.

I activated my emergency blue lights, exited my patrol vehicle, and issued loud verbal commands instructing the subject to stop. The subject ignored my commands, increased his pace, and continued traveling north along the railroad tracks while actively drinking from what appeared to be a liquor bottle.

I pursued the subject on foot, giving repeated verbal commands to stop, which he continued to disregard. After a brief foot pursuit, I caught up to the subject and was able to gain control of him and place him into custody without further incident. The subject had a heavy odor of an alcoholic beverage, slurred speech, and unstable balance. Also the bottle Mr. Worthy was drinking out of was determined to be “Malibu Rum” which is an alcoholic beverage.

The subject was identified as Mr. Robert Worthy. Once secured, I turned Mr. Worthy over to Officer Ferguson for further investigation and processing related to the original domestic incident.

[NARRATIVE #3 on October 05, 2025]

On 10/05/2025 at approximately 2157 hours, Sergeant Hunt and Officer Ferguson were advised of a physical domestic between a male and female, with the male subject banging and kicking on the door. Officers were provided the description of a white male covered in tattoos, no shirt, wearing shorts, and carrying a bottle of alcoholic beverage. While enroute to the incident location Officers were advised the male subject took off behind the business.

Officer Ferguson went to the incident location, and Sergeant Hunt continued to the adjacent Hotel business (Key West Inn) to attempt to search for the male subject. Officer Ferguson obtained a description of the male and joined Sergeant Hunt to the rear of the building. Sergeant Hunt due to prior incidents was aware of a path leading to West 136 at the rear of the hotels. Sergeant Hunt advised Officer Young to check West 136 towards Walmart for the male.

Officer Young advised Sergeant Hunt he located the male and issued verbal commands to stop, however the male was not complying. Sergeant Hunt and Officer Ferguson went along the railroad tracks toward Officer Young. Officer Young was able to successfully take the male subject into custody without incident. The male was identified as listed offender/arrested (Robert Worthy). Sergeant Hunt could detect the odor of Alcoholic Beverage coming from Robert’s person. Robert was sweating profusely, had glossy eyes, and slurred speech. Robert was taken back to the incident location.

Officers spoke with listed complainant [WITNESS #1] and witness [WITNESS #2] about the situation. Both advised Robert began drinking and causing issues at the hotel. [WITNESS #1] advised Robert to quiet down or he would be asked to leave. Robert complied, however returned and began banging on the door of Room [REDACTED]. Robert began kicking and screaming outside the room which was loud enough to alert [WITNESS #1] of the situation.

[WITNESS #1] advised she looked at the camera footage and observed Robert run and attempt to break down the door. [WITNESS #1] observed Robert fall down to the ground get up and begin to kick and scream again at [WITNESS #2] inside the room. [WITNESS #1] advised she contacted Law Enforcement at that point. There was no damage to the door, however Sergeant Hunt observed scuff marks indicating and consistent with someone who would have kicked the door.

Robert was transported to Walker County Detention without issue. Witness statements were collected from [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2]. Robert was turned over to and accepted by Walker County Detention Staff without issue. Robert was charged with Obstruction of Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct, and Pedestrian Under the Influence. [WITNESS #1] has also requested Robert be trespassed from the property.
