On April 3rd, 2026, at approximately 0255 hours, I, Officer Herron, was dispatched with other units to [1000 BLOCK] Wheelhouse Lane Apartment [REDACTED], in reference to a dispute.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant, (Aliscia Pettit), whom Monroe units dealt with earlier in the night on case number (26M007302). Aliscia stated that her caretakers, [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2], were withholding property from her as she attempted to leave.
Shortly after, [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2] exited the residence, and I began investigating further. [WITNESS #1] stated that he is a caretaker at the listed residence for individuals who cannot provide for themselves properly. [WITNESS #1] stated Aliscia had been missing curfews and behind on rent for a good bit of time now.
[WITNESS #1] stated that Aliscia had been gone all day and night, came to the listed residence, and confronted them about taking her property. [WITNESS #1] stated to Aliscia and me that he did not have her property. [WITNESS #1] stated that Aliscia has schizophrenia, and during the confrontation prior to the unit’s arrival, she began throwing her belongings into the trash can.
[WITNESS #2] exemplified the same account of the altercation as [WITNESS #1] did. As I spoke with the separated parties outside the residence, Officer Ashmore and Officer Goodwin had entered the residence and observed the items Aliscia had thrown into the trash can.
As all the responding units relocated outside to speak with Aliscia, we advised her that there are no signs of items being taken or withheld from her person. Aliscia was advised of the civil remedies of property retrieval through the court system if she pursued these accusations.
During this conversation, Aliscia had stated she was okay and had all her belongings and just wanted to catch a Greyhound bus to Columbus, Georgia. As officers attempted to assist Aliscia in finding a means of transportation to her destination, she started becoming disorderly by initiating arguments with officers and becoming audibly louder.
Aliscia then stated that she has all the belongings she wants and began exiting the area of [1000 BLOCK] Wheelhouse Lane. As Aliscia walked away from the residence, she began coming even more disorderly, making loud, derogatory comments towards the responding officers in the presence of [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2]. Aliscia was also loud enough to wake up residents in the surrounding area who were sleeping during nighttime hours.
I then instructed Aliscia to stop walking and put her hands behind her back. Aliscia was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, city ordinance 62-1. Aliscia was handcuffed behind her back, handcuffs were checked for proper fitment, and double locked, before she was searched incident to arrest. Aliscia was then transported to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Jail, where she was turned over to the deputies without incident.
