On May 5th 2026, at approximately 1916 hours, I, Officer Herron, was contacted by Officer Cohen #356, in reference to Officer Cohen observing Larry Hicks violating his bond conditions, walking down South Madison Avenue with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] the victim in Larry’s family violence case.

At this point I contacted the Walton County Sherriffs Office to confirm Larry’s bond conditions along with a GCIC inquiry which both yielded that Larry must stay away from, directly, indirectly, third party, telephone, email, text message, or any other correspondence from the person, home, family, school or place of employment of: [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Monroe, Georgia.

With the violation being confirmed, I was able to locate the two walking at the intersection of South Madison Avenue and East Church Street. I then pulled into a parking lot to radio to have another officer en route before making contact with Larry.

Once another Officer was en route, I pulled out of the parking lot and located the two walking at the intersection of East Washington Street and Midland Avenue at the establishment of Peters & Fosters.

I then got out with the two, asking Larry to come to me, which he complied with. The female was hesitant to, but once asked directly, she complied.

As the two walked towards me, I asked the female what her name was, and she confirmed [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. At this point, I detained Larry, placing handcuffs behind his back, checking for proper fitment, double-locking them, before patting Larry down for any weapons or contraband, and securing him in my patrol vehicle.

Once Officer Priest #349 arrived at my location, I had Officer Priest confirm that Larry violated his bond conditions alongside the Sheriff’s Office, Officer Cohen, and my confirmation. Once Officer Priest confirmed, giving me four confirmations of the bond violation, Larry was informed that he was arrested.

Larry was adamant about speaking about the situation, so I read Larry his Miranda Rights, which he waived, and chose to speak with me. Larry provided nothing viable on the situation and only stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was the one getting in contact with Larry.

Larry was then transported to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, where he was turned over to the deputies without incident.

With a previous bond condition set for Larry not to have contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I have gathered enough probable cause to charge Larry with Aggravated Stalking (OCGA: 16-5-91)
