On 10/11/25 I, Officer Arriaza responded to a subject in a mental health crisis in the area of West Spring Street and Quality Foods. Dispatch was advised by the caller that the 19 year old male subject was recently discharged from Ridgeview after being placed there under a 10-13. The caller advised that he attempted to jump out of the vehicle but was able to pull over prior to his exit. Upon his exit he ran into Quality Foods then left the store and began walking down the street. The subject was identified as Wynston Pinckney (DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]/05).

I was able to locate Wynston as he walked into the O’Reilly’s on West Spring Street. Upon making contact with him he advised me that he did not live in the area and had no money. He advised he did exit the vehicle that was taking him to the hospital. When asked who was driving the vehicle he originally advised it was an unknown man then later advised it was his father. His father then arrived on scene and was identified as [WITNESS #1] (DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]/73).

I then spoke with [WITNESS #1] who advised me on the incident. [WITNESS #1] advised that he picked up his son from Ridgeview on this date and during their ride his son Wynston began to tell him about his time in the Institution. Following this, he asked him a question about religion but did not like the response and began to threaten him and stated that he would kill him the first chance he had. A witness statement form was completed by [WITNESS #1] on this incident.

Multiple attempts were made to get Wynston to go to the hospital and be 10-13 in lieu of charges but he refused. After some time, Wynston was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. He was placed in handcuffs behind his back that were double locked and checked for fit. He was then transported to the Walton County Jail without incident. [WITNESS #1] advised he was in the process of getting a Power of Attorney over his son due to his current condition as he refuses to take his medication.
